TV series that should be released on DVD

Trapper John, M.D.

OMG! I thought I was the only one! I was in love with Simone. What about you?

I also agree with the WLiiA fans. Though I prefer the US version.

Judging Amy, if it’s not out on DVD yet (it wasn’t a few years ago). Only drama tv series I ever really got into. Tyne Daly is awesome.

I was surprised it didn’t get a second season, it seemed like the kind of show that would’ve been really popular and been a big hit. It was really hitting its stride by the end.

Get A Life

I almost included that in my OP. But it’s scheduled for a release in a few weeks.

Two Guys and a Girl (+ a pizza place season one)
Freakylinks
So Weird
Boston Public
Sisters
Pasadena

I’m waiting for China Beach, too. But only with the original music, which I read is the issue with getting it out on DVD. Man, I’d love to watch that series again.

THE GODDAMN REST OF ST. ELSEWHERE! Sorry for screaming. But geez, guys—season one was released years ago and I’m still sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for the rest of it.

“Days and Nights of Molly Dodd” starring Blair Brown. Enchanting, haunting dramedy, set in a New York City that is no more, Molly Dodd is a single woman working ‘odd jobs’. I have a few precious episodes on VHS tape.

Similarily, I wish they’d release Young Indiana Jones as it was aired. IIRC, the only version available now is episodes from the original series re-edited into several movie length films.

Lucas strikes again.

The Goodies. Although I only know it by reputation.

Damn! Niiiice.

The complete original SCTV. None of this “Best of”…please.

That Was the Week That Was and another vote for China Beach.

Excellent choice. The American or the English version?

I’m not sure how much of it still exists, though. I have a CD of some highlights, edited so as to sound like two episodes. I looked for it at the Museum of Television and Radio (as it then was) once and they only had a few episodes.

“the secret diary of desmond pfeiffer” with the unaired episodes of course.
“homeboys in outer space” (yes i know i have terrible taste)
and “night stand with dick deitrich” Best fake talk show ever.

Night Stand was The BOMB!!!

Another vote for “The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd”

Plus:
Nichols with James Garner
Harry O with David Janssen
Picket Fences whole series
