TV series you want to see in DVD format

I may be the only person who remembers this show fondly, but I’d love to see the DVD release of the short-lived revival of The Twilight Zone from the mid-80s.

Six Feet Under

I fondly recall a short lived Fox show called The Edge with Julie Brown, Jennifer Aniston, Wayne Knight and Alan Ruck. You should be able to put all the episodes on one disk.

THE PARTIRGE FAMILY

and for Mrs. Z

The Cosby Show and Wizards and Warriors.

I’ve heard that Star Trek: TNG is doing so well that DS9 sets have been greenlighted for 2003.

Happy to hear about Sports Night and Mary Tyler Moore.

I wish for Fernwood 2Night, The Ben Stiller Show, and The Critic. Also a little show about Debra Messing and the sometimes prickly and effete man with whom she shares an apartment – that’s right, Ned & Stacey. (A very funny show the first season, greatly dumbed down the second and then immediately cancelled.)

P.S. Someone asked what the going rate is for these things. It seems quite variable – X-Files is about twice the price per episode as Buffy, but the picture quality is notably better. Older shows seem to be going for a mite less than more recent ones (I’d guess because the studios are giving up more in potential syndication revenue.)

You may not get a proper ending, but if you got 119 bucks, you can get all 19 episodes. (Officially licensed. Another Universe exclusive seller.)

Other notes regarding shows people wanted:
Sony will be releasing some Muppet Show DVDs, two at first. Yes, these are the same ones you could get from Columbia House.

Fox is planning to release the first season of Family Guy, already available in the England-land region, here in good ol’ region one. It will include the When You Wish Upon A Weinstein episode.

That is a great site. A lot of the titles listed here are on DVD or scheduled for release. I was suprised that “Get a Life” has DVDs!
