And I want full-season sets of the animated *Justice League * and Justice League Unlimited (I know this one’s in the middle of its first season, but I want it collected stat) series.
And even though this program contained so many copyright violations it would be impossible to release on DVD, I still pine for Cartoon Planet on something better than mid-grade VCD.
I could swear I saw WKRP in the local Best Buy, but according to Amazon, it’s never been released. I’ll check it out when I go to buy Star Wars tomorrow and report back.
I would love to see Brisco County, I only caught a few episodes of the show and always wished I’d managed to see more.
I remember reading somewhere recently on the boards that Moonlighting was forthcoming, but Amazon is again quiet on the subject.
A big stumbling block with WKRP will be music licensing. When the show went into general syndication, a lot of “real” music played on the show was replaced by “generic rock”.
Now that Freaks and Geeks has been released on DVD, there is one and only one TV Series on which Hollywood should be working feverishly in order to release, to the exclusion of all others:
Twin Peaks season 2
The Tick (animated)
The complete and total MST3K (I can dream)
Wonder Woman seasons 2&3 (for the sake of completion)
Wolf Lake
The Judy Garland Show in its entirety, instead of the overpriced piecemeal sets Sid Luft tosses out every so often
All the various incarnations of all the Marvel superhero cartoons dating back to the 60s
