Actually I agree with you. I rarely post here in the pit for that reason. However, he ignored the gentler and not so gentle warnings in the original thread and then pitted the mod who chastised him. I think that is what people percieved as an invitation to pile on. And is why I said to him to “Please let it go, you are not winning friends here.”
Which by the way, I note that he has done. Maybe we should too.

Why am I so viled ? Why do you think I deserve such a shitting? Am I fundamentally an evil person? I did what I did in the spirit of anyone who believes in the golden rule. I challenged someone on their choice of username? Does not anyone think in this case that the user of this user name was working on creating a significant reaction?
