My daughter, for a long time, called it “orange-ritis.” At one point, out of the blue, she asked her great-grandma if she would like an orange. Great-grandma declined, and my daughter asked, “Is it because of your orange-ritis?” Sweet kid.
I’m so ready for some time off. I’m almost done with today, then I need to get through tomorrow and I’m off until the day after Christmas. I need it.
Howdy Y’all! I laid in provisions, made chawklit chip cookies (just cause), binged a while on Borgia on Netflix, then made and et sup. OYKW is gettin’ himself all packed up for his trip to the wilds of west Alabammy. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and ick so I wish he’d wait and go Firday instead, but, he will do what he will do.

Yay for RoxStar gifts. I had use or lose but I have been using it to the point I was gonna have to use some more for the 24th and 31st. I will take a gander at my last pay slip just to make sure I don’t lose even one hour.
My one clerk today had to leave early for a dentist appt so I had it all to myself for half a day. We were a little busy but nothing like we will be during Hell Week which is the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day I am not even looking forward to it.
The windows are finished and my fans arrived today. We are still waiting for the down rods but hubby is in there taking down the old ones now. I still need to decorate the Christmas tree. Maybe by Christmas Eve.

To answer the OP, I picked up my very last holiday gifts today. I picked a couple of Starbucks gift cards for the maintainance guy and the apartment manager. Not high dollar, but enough to buy a cuppa and breakfast.

Mmoooommmm I went back and looked at tracking. She should receive one tomorrow and the last one on Firday. Both are three piece sets by Carter’s and essentially are two outfits in one.
I meant to mention I started watching The Shape of Water last night and will finish it tonight. Weird movie.

Didn’t do much of anything again; I did get soccer organized for the weekend and get the e-mails out, so that much is accomplished. Still need to pack, but that won’t take much time.
Just looked at the NWS radar and the rain is on it’s way, down in elephant needs dentist area (Tuscaloosa) and heading north.

Awake for now, breakfast is consumed (two eggs with American cheese, country sausage, gravy, and an English muffin), 90% chance of rain all day, so it’s about time to grab a nap. Full dark is in about 10 hours, so I might be able to make it out to buy the essentials (beer, soft drinks, smokes).
Or the boss might want me to do something in my part time on-call status. Either way, okay.

I crawled into bed with Mel about 7:30 last night, and it wasn’t long till I was unconscious! Didn’t wake till 4:45 - I count that as a big win! I feel human this morning, which is a big step up from yesterday. So yay!

I goofed yesterday. I meant to grab a beer bottle since we don’t drink the stuff. I want to put the Beer-of-the-Month note in a bottle and give it to my mom for Christmas. I’d asked a coworker to save me one of his, but he forgot, too, and when I went out on the floor this morning, they’d already hauled out the trash. Dammit. We do have cider at home - I guess that bottle will have to do. Oh well…

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 54 Amurrkin out and rainy with a predicted high of 63 and rain all day and into the night. OYKW shall leave here shortly headed to the wilds of west Alabammy. Thus I have even broken fast. So I shall be sans adult supervision for a week. No big plans for the day except to go over to the church house this evenin’ for The Longest Night service. I agreed to ush duty but have a feelin’ the crowd will be slim due to the ick weather. We shall see. I envision majik intartoobz pizza for sup just cause I can.

Huge blurf this morning, I didn’t want to get up.
It’s a clear 27 degrees right now, supposed to get warmer and rain later. Tomorrow is supposed to rain all day but the temp will get up to the 60s.
I need to order groceries today to get tomorrow.
Spam and beans for dinner tonight because we are down to an almost bare cupboard. Not that it is a bad thing, since we both like spam and beans. Well, actually three of us like them, the cat isn’t interested.
However, Ripple is not allowed too many beans. Doggie bean farts are worse than menthol farts.
I’ll make some deviled eggs when I wake up all the way.
I have a half ton of laundry to do. That is the problem with having too many clothes.
