Am I seeing a precedent here that any question asked, in IMHO or MPSIMS, that has a factual nature loosely related to a legal question can only be answered by an approved professional?

Giving a look at what you posted, none of them were facts but opinions.
Very well, I was given an inappropriate warning for saying things that were facts, which were on topic, wgich were not inflammatoryt and broke no rules. Many people in that thread were expressing contrary views to my own on the same subject, yet only I got shit for it. I believe the moderator was acting out of personal animus, not because of anything I actually did wrong.
