Twickster, you're full of it.

How many can do it without parental consent?

The fact that you have to ask automatically makes your entire posting history on this subject a total fucking joke. If the answer is more than zero, I really hope you apologize.

That anything like “The Situation” ? Or is it more like a regular one.

I have a hard time believing in loco parentis extends to striking a child. In what way does that promote or safeguard the welfare of the child?

They don’t have the balls. Dio intimidates them.

If only there was a way you could craft your posts to get the proper message across.

If only…

Oh, yeah, they’re scared shitless.

To be fair, Bricker did provide cites for the rest which, absent any other cases, which may or may not even exist, seems to encompass the situation; Diogenes has not provided any cites other than his assertion that it was true 10 years ago in Minnesota. Generally on this message board it is considered the responsibility of the person making the assertion, in this case Diogenes, to provide citations when challenged.

Quoted for awesomeness.

Teacher = day care center operator = live-in boyfriend watching one’s children. Who cares, they’re all exactly the same!

It’s that kind of careful attention to factual detail that makes it so wonderful when Diogenes posts 38 times in a thread.

twickster, look at it this way, Diogenes is sort of like Fred Phelps. When the Phredites show up at one’s church, you know you must be doing something right if they are so mad at you. So just wave at him, smile, and go about your business.

At least you’re admitting you don’t know what you are talking about. My previous cite was incorrect, by the way. Those were only the states that allowed corporal punishment in their own schools. 48 states permit it in private schools.

In answer to your question, not all states require parental permission.

Next time, support your own assertions. Especially the ones you claim as fact.

I am impressed by your ability to deftly move the goalposts.

So I was full of shit, but now I’m scared shitless?

He has. His post is his cite. He’s taken the mantle from the long-departed Aldebaran and run with it like nobody ever has before.

Uhmmm, twickster . . . .

Yeah–Dio’s internet tough-guy act scared the shit out of you. So you were full of shit, his “facts” scared you so you shit your pants and now you’re shitless. See? It all ties together.

Well, I definitely don’t have balls!

Most of them, by state laws.

Many schools have their own policy about parent consent, but few states that still allow CP require parental consent.
My post is my cite. So is this. CORPORAL PUNISHMENT: US LEGISLATION - SCHOOLS

Clean-up in ATMB!

In all fairness, and speaking as a casual observer who isn’t privy to the many back stories that may be involved… It does appear that many posters lay in wait to ambush Dio (and Bricker for that matter).
