Two computer ?s

First: I use Google Chrome as my browser. Since yesterday, when I click on “new tab” (under the back button), instead of taking me to my home page with my favorites, it does nothing but give me a box that says New Tab chrome-internal:
If I hold down the back button to get my recent history and go to New Tab from there, I get a blank page. (Well, not completely blank, but empty boxes instead of my favorites.) I reinstalled Chrome but it didn’t help.
Second: Also since yesterday, if I print a webpage to MS Onenote (which I do all the time), it shows in a really skinny column in the middle of the screen, and whole parts are missing between one page (down) and the next.
I’ve looked in the help files in both Chrome and Onenote and can’t find anything that fits, and I’m just too disgruntled right now to play with it further.
Help?

Chrome is at best at the level of beta testing software. Youre doing free Q&A work for google! I would give up on it and move towards a real browser like Firefox, IE, or Opera.

You need to adjust your settings. What you’re saying is the New Tab button is actually the Homepage button. The New Tab button is actually the little plus sign to the right of all the current tabs. Click Spanner (Tools) | Options | Basics. ‘On startup’ should read ‘Open the Homepage’. The Homepage should say ‘Use the New Tab Page’. I also uncheck the ‘Show Home button on the toolbar’.

 Chrome is a real browser. The only thing I use FF for anymore is watching movies on Netflix. Chrome works just fine for everything else I’ve encountered so far.
