You could start a project called: Tweet the Book of the Bible.
I don’t feel threatened by people like Perry. They just annoy the hell out of me.
I will help the nation by going about my business and not bothering other people by grand-standing and being an attention whore. If Perry and his friends would just do that much, maybe the country wouldn’t be in such a mess.
If you don’t know the texts of the Bible, then don’t pretend like you do. And definitely don’t use your lack of knowledge to call someone out.
That is Palin-esque stupid.
I think some of you have read what he said a bit overly literally, the link should have made it pretty obvious he knew it really was in the bible.
Not sure why some of you think its so important to know all the books in the bible either. If anything I’d call it an achievement to avoid it given how many attempts are made to ram it down your throat as you grow up.
Otara
When the top funders the event are a hate group the line between them and the KKK gets a bit greyer.
Just a reminder to the base that Rick Perry is 100% Christian. Just like a Real American should be. And not some sort of a Muslim like some people who are … you know … different.
Meth. Not even once.
…Mitt Romney?
Sorry, I can’t bring myself to put Evangelical Christians and the KKK in the same group.
[From Memory]Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, First and Second Samuel, First Kings, Second Kings, First and Second Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habukkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and the last book Malachi.[/fm]
We learned songs for the Old and New Testament when I was in the fourth grade.
That’s like associating Democrats with slave owners or homosexuality with promiscuous men.
It’s more of a Venn Diagram than a joint partnership.
The Evangelical Right does not endorse the KKK.
Sorry, not gonna fly.
You said that you can’t bring yourself to put them in the same group. In a venn diagram that overlapping bit** is** the same group. If you choose ignorance, that’s up to you.
I can’t do it. I tried, but it’s just too long with too much in it to do briefly. If I had to summarize it really briefly, it would be, “God wanted me to tell you all he’s tired of your shit and now you’re really screwed. Jerusalem’s going to be captured, everybody’s going to die or be taken prisoner and the temple’s going to be destroyed. After a while, though, I’ll forgive you, let you come back to Jerusalem, and rebuild the temple, even better than ever.”
All right, then. Democrats are also KKK members, slave owners, and perpetrators of Native genocide.
Think that will make an appropriate heading on the next Fox News ticker? How about: “Obama & Ayers & Farakkan are bFF butt buddiez”?
If characteristics overlap, it does not mean the main groups are synonymous. Basic math education tells us that. Hell, logic tells us that.
“Members of the KKK perpetuated a fucked up Christian theology that was designed to persecute non-whites and non-Christians. Therefore, all Christians are terrorists.” wtf
This is SD. Step it up.
e.g., The Likud’s Book of Wet Dreams.
edit: That’s not really fair. There are parties even more right-wing and Orthodox than Likud.
Where are the wheels, man? WHERE ARE THE WHEELS!?
And yet another possible Republican candidate bites the dust in my eyes anyway.
Have a nice time pandering to the Fundies while you leave the rest of us still hoping for a quality candidate to vote for.
Fuck off.
I can only conclude that many people have been praying for high unemployment, skyrocketing debt and lots of natural disasters. Bastards.
