The funniest moment I ever saw on the show was during “Party Guest Quirks” and Ryan Stiles had to live his life in “reverse”. It ended with him being a baby in the womb. ( I THINK this was in the US version, not sure though)
The “foal being born” is hilarious also.
“Props” is my favorite part of the show. Those guys are absolutely brilliant in that segment every single time, without fail.
Hi! I just saw all the threads about this show (via SDMB search). Didn’t know it was that popular.
I watched the marathon a while for New Year Day. The host – know his name? – is more humorous than I remembered. Still think he speaks too fast (the accent’s OK otherwise). I like when the points have a goal and someone is actually the “winner” even though everyone “has fun.”
There’s more variety in the cast. The regular cast is Greg and Brad together or one of them plus a guest. Their musical talent is about equal, so there’re several good people instead of one. The same actors aren’t always chosen for certain acts - like Sports Announcer.
White Lightning, Carey’s gigantic ego took it pretty gracefully when he was ribbed about being fat. (“I survived because I landed/On Drew Carey’s tummy.”) Same guy said Carey had a hairy back.

Faves: Props, Scenes From a Hat, and Three-Headed Broadway Star.
Best Moment: Alexandria’sWayne Brady doing the “Sprinkler Guy” song as an African Chant. Colin, Ryan and Greg doing the backgroud made the scene.
Well, color me different, but I love the music bits and I think Carey does as good a job as Anderson. One of my all-time favorite moments was when Wayne Brad and Josie Lawrence had to improvise a song Gilbert-and-Sullivan-style about a chiropractor. They were amazing.
Other good moments:[ul]
[li]he neon light incident[/li][li]The neon light incident[/li][li]“I know Africa is a continent.”[/li][li]“Tuesday nights on ABC you can see Melissa’s underwear!”[/li][li]Impossible Mission: “The cat!”[/li][li]Any time Ryan does his John Wayne impression[/li][li]The Alamo and the French maid outfit[/li][/ul]
Favorite games:
Whose Line
World’s Worst
Sound Effects
RR
THE CAT!!!
That one makes me laugh out loud just thinking about it
Is it even possible for Wayne Brady to improvise those brilliant, intricately rhyming, scanning, clever songs week after week? I’m serious. The best poets, the greatest songwriters, the most gifted parodists have to work and re-work, their best material for days to get stuff as well-written as his improvisions.
Furthermore, the stuff he does on his morning show, the obviously written and reharsed topical songs, is no better than this stuff, so I’ve got to conclude that he’s not improvising at all on WLIIA.
I love almost all the games. Party Quirks, The Dating Game and Props are my very favorites.
The Ryan-as-foal skit had me laughing so hard I was crying. He’s also hysterical as the weatherman on the news.
