Heath Herring is a monster.
And by “monster,” I apparently mean “overrated,” because Heath Herring is having his ass handed to him by a guy who you’ve never heard of.
I have never heard of Heath Herring before the ads for this show and I enjoyed watching him get his ass whupped immensely. Good show, “Irish” Jake O’Brien!
I want to know who the judge that scored it 29-28 was, and what fight he was watching, because there’s no way Herring won a round. Hell, either one of those first two rounds could have been a 10-8 with the complete lack of effort on Herring’s part.
I totally forgot about this tonight. I’m shocked to hear that Herring got his ass kicked. I’m sure Spike will show it again in a couple of days.
Rashad Evans may have just killed Sean Salmon.
That was the hardest kick to the head I’ve ever seen. He caught him flush with it.
It’ll be on again Saturday at 7PM EST.
Much as I dislike Rashad Evans, that was a hell of a kick. Is that the first time a fight of his hasn’t gone to the judges?
He’s only had two UFC fights end via something other than decision: this fight and his last fight at UFC 63.
Reports trickling in indicate that Salmon was out cold when they moved him out of the cage, but was awake by the time they got him in the ambulance, and he’s going to be held overnight for observation.
