America overall has the lead, to be sure, but Europe is not far behind with having big behinds. Obesity is a global problem and is poorly combatted by labelling physiques like MM’s as “fat” … or by excessively restrictive diets. (If one was to use calorie counting which I personally think is stupid) An 800 cal/d deficit is an extreme way to lose weight.
Zillions of calories, sitting around, and skipping meals … all bad ideas. But that doesn’t mean that extreme restrictions are a good idea.
