*ugh* It's too hot.

Its 31C over here (that’s about 88F). Its warm. The office has no a/c, the windows don’t open, and we have 8 computers running 24/7. I’m sat at my desk practically dripping in sweat :frowning:

We’ve had some brutally hot days here lately… 34 c is like what… a million fahrenheit?

And then there’s been thunderstorms and tornadoes to make things even more fun.

This Canuck was thinking he’d like a summer home in Antarctica.

Here in Denver we’ve had some recent 100+ days. TOO HOT. So hot that you can’t breathe when you go outside. I suppose I should be happy that at least it’s a dry heat. Except for when the whole state catches on fire. That part sucks too.

My problem is that I am always FREEZING cold in the office. I wear long sleeves and pants every day, stopping short of turtlenecks and sweaters so I don’t boil when I do have to go outside. Plus I have an extra sweater that I put on over my outfit to keep warm, and a little space heater under my desk. When people walk in my office they always complain about how hot it is.
Anyhoo, with the 100+ weather, our building’s A/C has gone into overdrive and my office is EVEN COLDER! I am currently sitting here with extra sweater, space heater and a BLANKET wrapped around my shoulders to keep warm. Even so, my hands are ice cold and actually hurt.

It was so nice two weeks ago when the A/C was out…I was the only comfortable person in my department.

Sigh. Come back 70 degree weather, come back!

Here in Phoenix, 116 yesterday, todays low was 91, currently 100 degrees with an expected high of 113 today

::checks weather.com:: Thank Og, it looks like the heat wave here is breaking! Only 85 F right now, heat index 87 F. I’ve been holed up in front of the fan for the last few days- no, we don’t have A/C. The joys of an old house…
