Ugly cars

ROFL

The grill on the Chrysler 300 looks like they pulled it off a Kenworth or Mac truck, then tried to cut it down to “fit”.

You know I hadn’t thought about that, but it does look rather “animated”.

Damn, the Seat Toledo used to be a fine looking car!! Seriously though, is this the production version, or is it just a concept/prototype?

After the Ibiza revamp, I had high hopes for Leon/Toledo.

I mean, these go for >$75,000! It looks to me that they just welded together partst from other cars…what a mess! You have the beemer front end (which looks like a resurrected Ford EDSEL), mated with a body from a 1950’s style Chrysler, with a Checker cab rear end.
The BMW design team must have been smoking crack! Plus, there isn’t a single coherent line in the styling…at least the 300M is consistent.
How did they expect that ANYBODY would pay big bucks for such a pile of crap?

Personally, I think the Audi TT is one ugly car. There is one in my town that is the ugliest color - like a flat gunmetal grey. The car looks like it’s in primer. I always get the feeling they didn’t finish the paint job.

I like the Honda Element. It looks like a tough little practical car.

On the other hand, there are very few cars (or trucks) that I would consider truly beautiful.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen footage of the Mercedes G-class SUV on the History Channel, only German troops were riding in it.

You’re talking about this, right?

I’ve seen one in town. I like it more than most MB products.

Yes, after 1989 they did. If this should be an argument against driving one, keep in mind that “Forth Reich Motors” was good enough for the US Marine Corps

I like it. So there.

That car looks evil. Like the cameraman made a disparaging comment, and the car is seriously considering running him over as soon as he turns around.

If they make any more Superman movies, this is the car Lex Luthor should be driving.

I saw the ugliest new car of all time the other day. It looked like one of those itty bitty panel vans you see on the streets of London had mated with a shoebox. Wish I knew what it was so I could revile it by name.

Thanks to Coldfire, I think I’ve found it. Check out the Suzuki Wagon R+ on this page. Even as I look at it, I’m wondering how many clowns could come spilling out of it.

There’s a car that shows up at local car lover events. It appears to be a '40s panel truck that has been extensively hot-rodded, and painted a dark midnight blue. A great-looking car, and the PT Cruiser looks like it was copied from it. (I admit I really like the cars of the late '30s and the '40s.)

My wife, on the other hand, likes cars, especially muscle cars, of the '50s and '60s, and thinks the PT Cruiser is the 2nd ugliest car on the road (Aztek is number 1).

In a similar vein to what others have said about the PT Cruiser (what a stupid name, btw) EVERY time I see one of those I feel like I’m about to see about a hundred clowns come piling out of it and then remove a tiny coffin from the back. Ick.

Recently, I’ve seen some sort of SUV or Mini Van thing that literally looks like a shoe box with wheels. I have no idea what this thing is. But it’s ugly.

I’ll vote the Aztec is the worst of the worst. And it seems to be better than when it first came out.

I kind of like the 300. At least you can tell it apart from other cars.

I used to be able to tell if a car was a Chevy, Ford, whatever, with no problem. Not anymore. Car companies are losing there identity.
