My sympathies to you and your friend for having to put up with this girl. I have seen it and been on the recieving end before. This is all I can say: If she treats people like crap, even and especially you, is she someone you want to share a relationship with? After you answer that question, dealing with it gets a lot easier.
It’s actually pretty interesting. Our little nerdy triumvirate (I’m kind of a transient member in the respect that I hang out with pretty much whoever’s closest :)) actually had discussions about if she was just misguided or really that witchy, and we decided that it was a combination of the two.
She had a great line a couple days ago: “Agnostic? Nope. I just think that there might be a god, and that’d be good, or there might not be one, and that’d be good too.”
Fear not, this snotty ass little vaginal cavity is just the type to go hog wild over some tough guy macho bad boy who’ll proceed to slap her silly so regularly you can set your watch by it.
Maybe I’m completely missing something, but why was it so creepy of this guy to give her a letter? Is any form of communication with her other than saying “hi” in person branded “creepy”? Of course, I have no idea what was IN the letter, so perhaps that was part of it, but can someone fill me in here? I’ve never done it myself, so I wouldn’t know what I’m missing…
Oh, and obligatory movie quote:
“All jocks think about is sports. All nerds think about is sex.”
Oh yeah, it wasn’t the letter in itself (actually, she thought the mere fact he’d give her a letter was creepy, but I don’t) that was the source of my percieved creepiness. I don’t know what was in it exactly, but I don’t think he’s exactly a master wordsmith, so he might have inadvertantly given a totally wrong message. But that doesn’t excuse her sentiments regarding his appearance/right to like girls.
