Yesterday I finished all the animation I had assigned for the last corrections on an animated series for the soccer world cup; normally work at the studio is quite intense and steady, but today, having finished one day ahead of the deadline it was the Kingdom of Boredom on a slow day.
I goofed off with Spider Solitaire even with the boss right by my side, it was that boring; so after doing absolutely nothing for the whole day I packed up and got ready to leave. When I waved goodbye to the sound designer I caught a glimpse of the end of an episode and said “that would be better with the knocked-out guy moaning a bit”, he sets the mic and records me wimping “uhhh-ohh-ahhh”…I turned around and left.
Two seconds worth of “work” for the whole day on my way out, who can beat that?
