Unidentified mass in my lung. Sick.

I will not see her today, as the Md has forbidden anybody but Dad from seeing her, & him for 1 hour only. Perhaps tomorrow.

I still think it’s a tootsie roll.

That’s great news. Glad to hear it.

Bosda, glad to hear the good news! Hoping that your mother gets well quickly and that you can see her soon!

Oh, and Jeneroph … “It’s not a TOOMAH!” Snerk!!! Perfect! But isn’t the preferred terminology [The Governator] ???

Bosda, I am SO looking forward to your imminent post on the “Favorite Pimple Stories (Maybe TMI)” thread.

I’m ever so happy for you. … But please, your job now is to poke and prod.

Fingers uncrossed.

So happy for you! Shame on your doctors for not diagnosing sooner, but at least you know what it is now and you’re getting the proper treatment for it. Again, wishing you a speedy recovery (and your Mom too - sounds like she is in good hands).

No further news on Mom. She’s in Saint Thomas Hospital.

Hey Bosda!

Glad to hear your good news! Be sure to let us know how Mom is doing? Did your dad get to see her yesterday?

I’ve not posted to this thread before, but I’ve been checking it regularly and thinking about you. Glad to hear that things are looking up for you!! Hope your mum gets better soon.

Been to see Mom.

She’s tired & weak.

It’ll be a while before she comes home.

She may have to quit Krogers,

If so, no more health insurance for Mom & Dad.
The next major illness would destroy them, financially, if this is the case.
And I am in no real position to help, financially.

Anticipate the situation and do the first step for them. One way or another you should contact the county services offices (child care enforcement, welfare, board of aging, etc.). They are usually in contact with health insurance providers who carry lower cost healthcare insurances to meet most budgets. Use them, even if it is temporary.

I do some work with my local board for really low cost emergency repairs on some older people’s houses. You may be surprised at what you can get lined up for your parents, and they don’t have to be particularly poor…just in need without ready alternatives.

Later…

Great news, Bosda. Get well quickly!
I glad your mom is doing ok too.

Glad to hear that both you and your Mom are (slowly) on the mend, Bosda.

Bosda, I’m so glad to see positive news from you. My day is considerably brightened. Know that I will continue to keep you and Mom Di’Chi in my thoughts for a full recovery for you both.

Very relieved for you, and happy that your mother is doing better.

You sure had a lot of people rooting for you!!

Continued good health to you, Bosda. Best wishes on your mom’s recovery as well.

I’m glad to hear that it looks like you and your mom are both going to be okay.
I hope that you guys find an answer for the insurance situation soon.

[fret meter on]
Any word from Bosda?
[fret meter still on]

Bosda Di’Chi of Tricor, I am happy you are well. Wait, you are conservative, right???

Mom is outof the hospital & home. She’s weak, & taking things easy, as she should.
I’m still coughing, & wondering if the antibiotics are doing any good.

BVut don’t worry–I’m gonna take all of them. I know what happens when you don’t.
