Surprised no one’s yet quoted the classic 2000 British sports headline, about a Scottish football team called Inverness Caledonian Thistle – known as Caley Thistle – upsetting Celtic, one of the dominant teams in Scottish soccer. A subeditor at the Sun, Paul Hickson, came up with this gem:

“Super Caley Go Ballistic, Celtic Are Atrocious”.
