Unlikely celebreties to turn you on

Heheh, there was a really cool sketch on “Wings” once. The guys were all saying how they were so secure in their heterosexuality that they could recognize attractive men when they saw them. They all mentioned guys like Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt… Then Lowell chimed in with “Tom Petty.” They all laughed and said Tommy was one of the ugliest men in the world, and Lowell responded, “Is looks all you guys care about???”

sniff I miss that show.

lucie, I’m in your Jonathan Pryce line. Ever since Brazil…sigh

Basil Rathbone
Tim Curry
Boris Karloff
Tim Burton
I’ll quit. You get the picture. Hey, you asked for unlikely…I’ve got unlikely…

Clancy Brown
Gerard Depardieu
Mandy Patinkin

Yum.

Wings was perhaps the most underappreciated sitcom in recent memory. The Big Sandwich episode…

Anyway, I have this thing for Ralph Reed. Yes, the weaselly former head of the Christian Coalition! That guy! He’s just hypnotic, so well-spoken, able to respond in a debate without being hysterical or sputtering… for those reasons he just gets me going.

And me a good liberal.

Gary Sinise makes me purr like a kitten.

Other than that, I love big noses so any guy with an unusual nose makes me pant a bit. Gerard Depardieu and Karl Malden seem to have escaped this net, but there are plenty of other goofy-lookin noses that rev my motor.

struuter, you totally freak me out.

Boris Karloff and Basil Rathbone were both in my head, but I didn’t include them with mine. I totally love Tim Curry, too. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched Clue.

Cranky – I loved the big sandwich episode. “Wait a minute…no big sandwich?”

My list includes:[ul][li]Janeane Garafolo[/li][li]Helen Baxendale[/li]Willow from Buffy, here too[/ul]

Yeah, the big sandwich was actually a running gag in the serious… I think it started in the first season even.

Ah, no my friend. You totally freaked me out. I read your list and did a mental forehead slap. Clancy Brown? How could I forget? And Mandy? Princess Bride…mmmmmmm.

We have the same tastes, it appears.

Clancy Brown, Basil Rathbone, Boris Karloff, Tim Curry, Mandy Patinkin…

All of them a big, fat, YES. I just didn’t add them because I didn’t think they qualified as “unlikely”…

Add Peter Cushing, Vincent Price, and Christopher Lee and we’ve collected the whole set.

One last one - Sir Ian McKellen. Maybe it’s their voices.

lucie, are we odd or what? I’ll go ahead and add Patrick Stewart. Make it so…

You and I should just combine our lists…they seem to consist of the same people. How about Alan Ruckman? Or…oh, crud, what’s his name? Alan Cummings? Is that right? The guy who won the Tony for Cabaret? Is that his name? Or how about the guy from The Full Monty? How about any of those guys? sigh

I hate to admit it, but Tonya Harding, because she is such a bad girl.
Also Connie Chung, don’t ask me why.

That’s a big “Me Too” on Pat Stewart. Ever seen Safe House?

I also have a crush on Jessie from Team Rocket. I’m going to be her for Halloween.

Carol Browner.

Alan Rickman, which is strange to me because he always looks evil, even when he is playing a good guy (Sense and Sensibility)

And always, I am deeply in love with Kevin Kline. He’s not the cutest guy in Hollywood, but he’s extremely smart, very good at what he does, and a very loving person(which usually shows through in his roles). Hmmmmm… reminds me of someone I met recently.

Oh, yeah! Him! I want him!

Similarly, I also want Neil Tennant from the Pet Shop Boys. Even if he is fifty.

Oh, and Kevin Kline is just ever so slightly twisted…

Matt: Ever seen them live? My GAWD…

I wouldn’t have said Patrick Stewart because I thought everyone would have said he’s hot. I felt like a bummed out school girl when I found out he got married. How’s that for very odd?

Alan Ruckman. There’s another yum.

Okay. Here’s one that’s odd. James Earl Jones. I could just listen to him and melt.

Oh yeah - on that show, it’s the Wilster by a landslide. She’s so damn intelligent and just plain cute. She’s also one of those actors who look like there’s something going on upstairs.

Willow gets my vote, too. I think she crushes Buffy like a grape, sex-appeal-wise.

Also, and I’m not sure why this is, but I’d love to lie down with Martha Stewart.
