Unlikely Pairs Game

Objective: come up with a title and brief description of a not-yet-made movie that stars the most unlikely pair of actors/actresses that you can think of. I’ll give you two examples to show you the idea

Anyone But You
Staring:
Sean Connery as Timothy Leer
Courtney Love as Kissy Gin

Timothy is the now retired CEO of Timmy’s Tiny Chicken Bites, one of the top selling chicken products of all time. Kissy is a NY hooker who tries to pick up Timothy when he’s in NY to turn over the CEO-ship of the company. Wackiness ensues as he tries to convince Kissy he’d rather sleep with anyone else.

Vegas Cafe
Staring:
Chris Klein as Derek Loveless
Katherine Heigl as Cloe Loveless

Twins Derek and Cloe find out that the father that ran out on their family when they were seven is in Las Vegas, so they fly out to meet him, wanting to ask him why he left, and maybe do a little gambling. They get as far as a cafe on the outskirts of Vegas before things go bad and they have to take all the cafe patrons hostage and shoot the short order cook. Will dad talk them out of a killing spree and explain his long-time absence from their lives, or will they have to kill him too?

[bToday. Tomorrow. Red Balloons.**
Staring:
Urkel as Julio Iglesias
Meryl Streep as Bunny Flyswatter

a fun frolic filled film for the whole family to watch!

Dtyort Gjlfdhjsdfh Uoiroeyr’s Finnish bittersweet masterpiece about Julio Iglessias’ mad decline into a personal hell, caused by the grissly premature death of Beatrice (cameo by Elizabeth Taylor). Bunny helps him find love again.

This film has been widely discussed in film classes. Red Balloons float throughout the black and white fil. Their symbolism has been argued by many critics. Some feel they represent Hades, others fell that they are a symbollic manifestation of Hostess Twinkies. A new theory, prsented by Hhfkdjsff Goiuoiserffldkfjldskfj at the Jfoirhjdjshrgjh film festival is gaining ground. Mr.Goiuoiserffldkfjldskfj has suggested that they are an intrepretation of The Divine Comedy.

sorry 'bout that!

** Fly On You Crazy Taco **

This Uzbeki/Canadian co-production stars Gary Sinise and Pauly Shore as separated-at-birth twins who compete for the World Trapeze Championship. Filmed entirely in Myanmar, this lush portrayal of sibling rivalry incorporates elements of Besson’s Le Grand Bleu, rhinoceros imagery from Fellini’s E La Nave Va and Bigelow/Gordon/Hewitt/Joanou’s Wild Palms, Thelma Schoonmaker’s snappy editing, and Neil Young’s first new film score since Jarmusch’s Dead Man.

Filming was halted briefly as the National Film Board of Canada lobbied for more of its trademark voyeurism and bizarre sexuality but a compromise was reached when Peter Greenaway agreed to replace John Hughes as director. The scheduled release at Cannes 2002 should be unaffected.

The Calamity Girls

When undercover cop Taffi Callaghan (Tori Spelling) makes a critical mistake in a prostitution sting, she and her crusty but loveable partner Sally Glock (Linda Fiorentino) get sold into white slavery in Yemen and the wacky antics ensue. This Harmony Korine production of an Alejandro Jodorowski picture analyzes Middle Eastern realpolitik in a Bergman’s Persona meets Elliot’s The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert style and idiom. It also features Crispin Glover as Admiral Dirk Jawbone and Paul Reubens as Navy Seal Colonel Steve Proudfoot.
