As my exchanges with badchad amply demonstrate, anyone can claim the appelation “Christian” by isolating from the text of Scripture the particular aspects of it that underlie and support his or her basic concepts and prejudices, throwing away the rest. For me, what constitutes a “true Chrisitan” is someone behaving in the manner that Christ taught. Like Scotticher, for example.
Perhaps, Polycarp, we could consider it a violation of Gaudwin’s Law.

I think we should all be extra nice to OneYogini. This is a person who just started here yet knows not to include his/her signature more than once per thread. I’m genuinely touched and feel there are others on this board who could learn that lesson.

Where were you when I was in high school English (and believe it or not it was an Honors English class!)!! My teacher always marked up my papers with “overuse of commas”!! What can I say, I love commas (and quotes and smilies too!!)!!
