I have Easy CD Creator 5.3.5. including the upgrade to make it write data DVDs. However, my drive wasn’t listed in its previous upgrade, and I can’t make any DVDs with it. So I went to the Roxio site and got their latest patch.
The file downloaded fine. It shows no signs of being corrupt or incomplete. But I’ve spent the last hour trying to install it. The progress bar goes to about 3/4 done, and the drive just spins and spins and spins, noisily, without anything happening. Then the install wizard goes into Not Responding and I have to stop it. All the times I’ve tried it, the same thing has happened.
Can anybody think of why this isn’t working properly?
