Uploading my pictures to internet

Well, it’s finally time for me to learn a new thing - how to upload my digital pictures to the internet so I can share them with all y’all. So, anybody want to tutor me?

I use www.photobucket.com .

I use http://imageshack.us/

It is very self-explanitory.

Flickr is also pretty easy and has lots of fun things to play with.

I’m a fan of http://www.webshots.com but they will all work well for you. Your ISP may also give you several megs of webspace that you can use.

      • If your internet service provider gives you free webspace anyway (usually 5 megs in the US, for home/residential accounts) it’s better to use that because people trying to view the pics won’t ever get the dreaded “bandwidth has been exceeded” page, unless you put up a really amazing photo.

Oh, and per how to do such things, well, they all vearry.

Tell us what service doesn’t work, then we can tell you how to do it.

Yahoo bought Flickr, but they still have their old photo service at photos.yahoo.com, which last time I checked gave you unlimited space for free. Not so with Flickr.

I just FTP mine to a folder within the free web/FTP space that comes with my ISP account.

I hate those irritating built-in webby software-wrappers that most photosites impose on you!

Hokay, I have registered and uploaded a picture with image shack - take a look!. Thanks for the tutelage, everybody. It actually was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I probably should have learned this a long time ago.
