Way to go, rosie. Tomorrow a trip to the doctor, the day after it’ll be a trip to the bar for some medicinal refreshments.
swampy too bad it’s not the Yuengling plant you’ll be temping at. I’d tell them to just pay me in kegs of the lager and Black & Tans.
We had a storm last night too. Started at about 2 o’dark, and it woke us all up. Have you seen The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, when Mickey Mouse is on the top of that mountain playing with the weather? This storm last night beat that. In fact, I think I saw Mickey getting blown across the yards when I looked out the window. It knocked down trees and relocated lawn furniture all over my neighborhood (yet strangely, left ours alone.)
Cat update: Took our other cat to the vet monday. She’s FIV negative. And since the only cat contact she has is with Rascal, there’s got to be a false positive on his test last month. But Toy also has red, inflamed gums, so we have to give her antibiotics too. She doesn’t take them as well as Rascal did. So now, twice a day, we sneak up on her, wrap her in a towel to keep her from shredding our arms and torsos with her back claws, and give her 25cc of it that way.
Rascal, however, now is jealous. Because she’s getting all the attention now and not him.
Remember last year I said I stood next to Rudy Boesch in a beer line at a function at the Amphib Base in Virginia Beach? Well, the same thing is going on again this week. I’m just waiting for the call from my boss to hit this again today after work. I even went out and got me a haircut and new shoes at lunch.
ETA: LiLi, you and the Husbands really do need to buy a home. Other than not having anyone else turn off your water, NijaKid will really appreciate a yard to goof off in.
