Surprisingly, I’m hating Josh much, much less after Saturday’s episode. He just came off a lot better, which I realize is thanks to the hard work of the editors as much as his own efforts. But still – after Roddy’s weaselry, I’m not quite so sure that Josh is the first one of them I’d go after with a baseball bat.
Stankow, I’ve found that Josh has faded into the background as far as my HamsterHate goes ever since Shoddy got the HoH. This past week has just shown the true colors of Shoddy and Skanchi, and to a lesser extent, Eric and Lisa, though their little romance is so cute (and so much more seemingly sincere than the other two) that I tend to like them more than Shoddy & Skanchi.
But Josh has definitely faded to a secondary annoyance lately.

That is an interesting observation, handy, because Josh was working on Shoddy last week when he was trying to decide who to put up if Denial vetoed either Marcellas or Amy, on just this point. Shoddy seemed to think it would be good for the final two to be him and Eric. Josh asked him if he really wanted to be standing against a firefighter for votes that close to the 1st anniversary of 9/11.
They might vote for him jayjay, if they want to get some sleep, as you know he talks alot then.

I’m pretty sure he could (I bet you a hundred bucks that jayjay knows), but Chiara opted not to use her veto yesterday, like the tool of Roddy that she is. What happened to girls sticking together, Kiki?
Blah…I had a long, detailed post typed and I hit the back button by mistake. Synopsis, because I’m not typing it all again.
Skanchi did not use the veto. Not only did she not use the veto, she plans to vote against Lisa. Shoddy has managed to turn her jealous, needy tendencies against the other pretty girl. Congratulations, tool.
Marc, Dani, and Jesus have their own little alliance going, and it’s probably the most dangerous one in the house. Nobody else knows they’re working together. They’re even staging mock arguments and snits and snarking on each other behind the others’ backs to make it look like they can’t stand each other. Watch these three…they’re a threat.
Shoddy is goading Skanchi into revealing her most intensely jealous and needy side, so he has a reason to pull away (and get some blessed rest) when the time comes that she’s more of a liability than an asset (and that time is damn close).
The Hamsters gave Eric and Lisa a romantic going-away dinner a la Will and Shannon last year. These two are so cute together. And they seem very real, but I don’t know if that’s just in contrast to the other, obviously one-sided relationship in the house or not.
Oh, and I believe the holder of the Veto is immune from nomination that week. It would almost have to be that way or else who would even consider using it? And why wouldn’t Lisa have put Gerry up the first week after he vetoed Marcellas? After all, he’d broken the alliance after less than a week…he’d be the obvious choice.
And that’s the short and sweet version of the lovely masterpiece of recapping that got lost to the wild electrons.

The holder of the veto is only immune from immediate retribution:
Vetoer – “I veto Phil’s nomination.”
HOH – “Then I nominate you to take Phil’s place!”
That’s a no go. But the next week, Vetoer is fair game for whomever becomes HOH.

Did they show the romantic dinner? I’m more or less expecting them to air it on the live show tomorrow because it came after the veto ceremony, which is usually the capstone of the Wednesday show.
I hope, hope, hope Lisa stays. Not because I hate Eric or anything, just so we can watch her realize that her “Girl Power!” best friend in the house voted for her to go. This will make great TV…

OK, let me chime in. I actually enjoyed BB1 because it was so lame, and I spent an entire summer lambasting them on another board. BB2 was interesting because of Krista & her NyQuil, the Monyaisms, Bunky’s constant flow of tears, Nicole’s meltdown (better summed up of the live feed updates), and Evil Doctor Will.
BB3 is suffering from Survivor 3: Africa syndrome. BORING. I don’t care what goes on. I put the show on, but stay in #sd chat. I just don’t care. The only high point is Marcellas’ bitching.
I wish I had E! so I could watch the Anna Nicole Show. Now THAT’S entertainment.
Damn skippy! I’m going out after work tonight and I forgot to set my VCR to tape.

Yep! And I can’t wait to see whose plan things end up following. Shoddy’s plan (which all the Couples seem to think is going to work out) is to have Lisa voted out and Eric stay, strengthening the Boys’ Alliance. But Marc/Dani/Jason’s plan is to end up with a tie vote, and Zzzzerry, as HoH, breaking it in favor of Lisa, so Eric will go. Afterward, it will be made known to Lisa that Skanchi was the one who voted against her, thus leading to dissension and chaos among the remnant of the Couples.
Things are falling apart around Shoddy’s ears, and I’m lovin’ it!
As I was typing that lost post last night, I happened to type the phrase “Shoddy and the Skank”, which started me singing it to the theme of “Pinky and the Brain”. “Shoddy and the Skank, it’s Shoddy and the Skank…” This game is starting to drive me around hte bend…
Another funny bit…someone on the EZ-Board Live Feed thread called that same couple “Shady and the Tramp”, which had me rolling for a while.
My God, I’m enjoying this too much.
