Back away from the live feeds, jayjay. Time for beddy-bye.
Ooh…live show update!
First of all, I’m sorry I didn’t borrow some money and make a huge bet on the outcome of this eviction, because it came down exactly the way I guessed it would.
The vote was a tie, 3 to 3. Denial, Marcellas, and Jason all voted to evict Eric. Shoddy, SKanky, and Josh all voted to evict Lisa. Zzzzerry, as HoH, made the tie-breaking vote. Eric was evicted.
It was so funny. As Eric was leaving the house, you could just see the wheels in Shoddy’s brain turning as he thought, “This isn’t the way I planned it!” This lovely look of bewilderment and confusion. Gorgeous!
Not so gorgeous is the fact that Skanky got HoH. They played some kind of bocce ball game where they had to roll the ball closest to the end of the lane without going into a gutter at the back. So the Ho will be HoH. Appropriate, in a linguistically perverted way.
BUT…the twist was revealed tonight! One of the four evicted houseguests will be returning to the Habitrail! The producers have been keeping the evicted ladies under wraps out of the country since their respective ousters. Lori was sent to Cancun, Amy to another Mexican resort, and Boobsya has been sequestered in the Caribbean. Don’t know where they’re sending Eric for the next week. They’ll all return on the next live show to compete for the right to return to the House. They’ve been kept away from any news about BB3 by their handlers, so they have no idea what’s been going on.
I hope Amy wins! I wanna love me some more Amy!
Observations:
What the hell is that thing on Josh’s chin?! He had a decent goatee which actually made him look halfway normal human. Now it’s some kind of lower lip mustache that comes out of his soul patch spot and goes vertical for about 1/2 inch, then just veers 90 degrees to either side and stops at the corners of his mouth. It’s ugly.
Lori was cute. They showed her at the zoo at Cancun watching a Galapagos iguana (one of those big ugly lizards that they show lolling about on the rock shelves in nature shows), and she said it reminded her of Josh. Then she said, no…it’s cuter than Josh. Hee!
I hope, hope, hope that Amy gets to go back in. I think Lori’s been out too long. She has no idea what’s been going on and there’s really not enough time to catch up. Boobsya I don’t like, so I don’t want her to win. And though I kind of like Eric, he’s one of the Couples Alliance, and I want them OUT! Besides, I could go for six more weeks of the Suzanne and Anthony Show.
I hate that Ho is now the HoH…blah…bye-bye, Zzzzerry.

Is it just me or is it a little frustrating to know one of the evicted house guests will be returning? I mean, they were voted out, shouldn’t that be the end of it? It may just be that I’m not anxious to have any of the evictees return (especially Amy, though I know I’m in the minority on that one). I was happy with the way things were going.
LithiumPage, I’ll admit that despite my AmyLove, I’m ambivalent about this twist. It complicates things immensely, and it seems pretty arbitrary and unfair. If they don’t do a second re-insert after the next four evictions, I know that I’d be pretty upset if I were one of the later evictees. But if they do a second re-insert, the numbers get messed up (the game starts with 12 houseguests and lasts for 12 weeks, one eviction per week with the vote at the end). I don’t think they have the kind of leeway with their schedule to allow for 13 evictions, let alone 14. And I hate the thought that the final vote will be made with absolutely no knowledge of everybody’s evil backstabbing and Diary Room snarking. What fun is that?
So I’m torn.

Eek! The Denial/Jason/Marc alliance almost got exposed! Satanspawn practically ran to tell Shoddy that he saw Marc and Jason shake hands the other day, and since Jason was obviously the one who didn’t vote as expected (i.e., with the Couples), Marc and Jason must have a secret alliance. Marc managed to play this off as another one of the Spawn’s lies, which Shoddy seemed to believe. You know, Shoddy has three weaknesses: his own high opinion of himself, the HoH, and his trust of Jason. Considering what went down last night, at least two of those are going to bring him down.
You see, Lisa now knows. Denial sat her down in the big bedroom and gave her the (forgive me) straight dope about HoH’s vote. See, I like this bunch better than the Couples (well, what once was the Couples) for a reason. Even in the revelation of her best girl friend’s betrayal of her, Dani and Marc were very, very clear that Eric had no idea that the HoH voting her off was the plan, and that Eric made no move to campaign against Lisa last week. Direct that outrage against the proper targets! Yay! Lisa was furious. She basically jumped ship from the remains of the Couples. The Power of Three (Dani/Jason/Marc) is now a Quartet (Dani/Jason/Marc/Lisa). It’s so much fun to see Shoddy and the HoH be left with Josh as their only ally. And they don’t even know it yet!
For some strange reason, Zzzzerry was sleeping on the couch in the living room. While he does this in the morning after he wakes up all the time, he rarely does it in the actual nighttime. Weird.
Talk seems to be pointing to Zzzerry/Spawn as the nominations. Nothing certain yet.
The big screen in the living room says “Expect the Unexpected”, so I’m guessing the Hamsters find out about the returnee scenario today. That’s kind of disappointing…it would be much more entertaining for the returnee to just walk into the house unannounced. I can just hear Amy now… “ANTHONY!!”
I’m still ambivalent about the whole thing, though…

Forgot to add…
There was a really cute moment when Dani and Marc were telling Lisa about the HoH betrayal. Lisa said to Dani that the Charlie’s Angels pose the three girls do would be more palatable now if Marc took HoH’s place.
Lisa is well aware that she needs to keep her cool and not let on that she knows about the HoH’s vote yet. I told you the D/J/M alliance was more dangerous than the Couples. Now they’re four strong, and outnumber any other alliance in the house (since Zzzzerry is a power of one, and Josh is so marginal with everyone). What the returnee is going to do to mess this new dynamic up I have no idea…

DAYAM!!!
Figures the one night I miss the damn show, all this stuff goes down!
Please Amy win the return to the house challenge, please please please please!!!
Anything to piss the Chia Pet off!
Booyah!!!
They could keep bringing old members back all summer long…seems a tad unfair.
Agreed, Handy.
What if they evict Spawn again and again and he just keeps coming back???
UPDATE!
Chiara released her nominations, which were Roddy and Josh, and Josh evidently went apeshit and was thisclose to leaving, but the hamsters had a big group talk, and eventually convinced him to stay. Meanwhile, Chiara’s digging her own grave with Lisa–looks as if her lies have finally caught up to her.
Gotta go back to the feed updates. Why am I so fascinated by this stuff? WHY?
It should be noted that Skanky spent most of the day running around the house getting everyone’s word that it would be a unanimous vote against Josh, before she put Shoddy up. And she only put Shoddy up, according to her, because he’s a vote for Josh to stay. Apparently he made a pact with Josh that he wouldn’t vote to evict him or something.
If these people have any intelligence, they made those vows to vote Josh out with their fingers crossed. Shoddy is ten times more dangerous than the Spawn is, sorry as I am to type that. I would pay to see the look on Shoddy’s and Skanky’s faces when Ms. Chen says “By a vote of 5-0, Roddy, you’re evicted from the Big Brother house.” That would make this whole season worth the time I spent on it.
Especially if Chiara follows up on the threat she keeps blabbering about: if Roddy goes, she’s walking out with him. Because then she knows she can’t trust anyone (not like it’s a game or anything) and they’re just SO much in LUV. Where’s a barfing smiley when you need one?
Did I miss something? Why did she put Shoddy up? Why not just use someone else as the filler nomination against Josh? Why would she take that chance at all?
Good question, Callie.
Also, is tonight the challenge to bring back previously evicted houseguests???
Because this is Chiara we’re talking about, which seems like a lame-o explanation until you’ve seen the feed updates, which have revealed how dim she really is.
On the other hand, it’s a tricky move. Marcellas and Danielle spent all of last night deciding what to do–if they vote Josh out, Roddy’s still in (obviously), but they DID give Chiara their word, and if they break it, she’ll know about their alliance.
But then, there’s always the threat of the returning HOs. If Eric comes back, and Roddy’s still there, it would be like nothing ever happened, plus they run the risk of Lisa going back to Roddy’s side because Eric is there–it would be an interesting test of Lisa, who I don’t completely dislike.
If Tonya comes back, things would suck, period. Actually, though, I’m not sure how I feel about Amy coming back. It would be a lot of fun, but she’s such a blabbermouth, and the Marc/Dani/Jason alliance is so strong that it would be a shame to see it jeapordized. For the game, it would be the best if Lori could come back in. She’s the one true wildcard–is she going to do the old people’s alliance with Gerry (probably not, because of the whole handwashing debacle), the Danielle/Marc/Jason alliance (possibly, because she did like Jason a lot, IIRC), or will Roddy and Chiara attempt to suck her into being their tool?
Shoddy has some kind of obsessive/compulsive repetitive behavior problem with making deals with Zzzzerry, who actually has the least power of all in the house. That’s why he’s up, at least in part. Shoddy and the Hoh called Zzzerry in before she made noms and told him that he was being considered, but Shoddy was magnanimous enough to take his place if Zzzzerry promised not to put either Shoddy or the Hoh up when he next became HoH. The other reason Shoddy is up is because the Hoh wants a unanimous vote against the Spawn and she knows that Shoddy has a deal with him, too.
Like I said in a previous post, Shoddy has three major disadvantages going against him in this game: his high opinion of himself, his relationship with the Hoh, and his trust of Jesus VDB. And I want to edit my own observation in that post. All three of them are going to bite him in the butt this week if there’s any justice in the universe.
His arrogance is blinding him to the fact that the rest of the house is totally onto his bullpuckey. His relationship with the Hoh is weakening his reasoning skills…offering himself up for nomination beside the Spawn is a good example of that. His trust of Jason won’t be an actual liability this week, as Jason is convinced that he needs to keep his word not to evict Shoddy if only to prevent him being exposed as a turncoat to the Couples alliance.
The implications are fascinating, really. If they don’t get rid of Shoddy, and Eric comes back, the Couples are back in business like last week never happened. The question of whether or not Lisa would stay with the Power of Four is iffy in that event. With Shoddy gone, Josh loses the only anchor he’s got in the house, as Shoddy’s the only one who will even bother to blow smoke up his ass.
I just want to see Shoddy gone, Lisa defected, Eric losing the competition to get back in, and the Hoh realizing that she. is. alone! Then we can say bye-bye to the skank, and settle in to watch the rest of them go cannibal.
Of course, my lifelong history of abuse and humiliation by the popular kids may be influencing my sympathies here…

Does anyone else crack up everytime they play that clip of Gerry giving his ‘Power of Veto’ speech? “MY SOUL IS NOT FOR SALE!” hahahah He seems to take situations way too seriously…
Nate
Forget BB3 evicted houseguests being re-inserted. I want to see BB2 houseguests inserted!
Imagine what would happen if they dropped Evil Doctor Will and Shannon into the house. Or perhaps Autumn.
masonite, fuhgeddaboutit. Will would own their souls and their firstborn children before the week was out.
On the other hand, Shannon and Hoh could make for some good TV. Both of them have that territorial streak and with only one streetcorner to fight over, it would not be pretty.
Bring back the gay guy from BB2…so Marcellus has someone
