Anyway, while relatively happy that NM-2 went Dem, I still don’t like the gerrymandering that got it there. And I’m about ready to blame a loss of the House overall on Cuomo.
I mailed something that had to be there by Monday yesterday (Tuesday 8), by priority mail: with the Friday holiday they would only guarantee it would be there by Monday.
It got to where it was going (a city about three hours’ drive away) this afternoon.
Admittedly, a) both locations are in NYState and b) it didn’t look like a ballot; though the latter’s probably not a general issue, as an attempt over a wide area to ‘slow down anything that looks like a ballot’ would almost certainly bring out some tattletales in the post office. It would be necessary to try to slow down everything.
The election was a great day for Democratic candidates in Illinois. In one race, the Republican clown who dressed up like Trump
to receive Trump’s endorsement lost bigly to the Democratc Governor Pritzker.
As a previous donator, I just this minute got my first text to donate to the GA runoff.
Yay, Tina Kotek!! I hope she makes it to church Sunday so that we can congratulate her and her wife in person, but I would certainly understand if she is a little busy. 
I am sooooo relieved. I really thought the governorship was a lost cause a couple weeks ago.
The main unhappy spot in OR politics is Chavez-DeRemer likely winning House District 5.
I see The Oregonian has called Kotek, but MSNBC still has not. Is The Oregonian’s thinking that most of the remaining votes are from Multnomah?

I’m another very pleased Michigander. The candidates for the three top offices were total loons. The US. House R? Yeah, he’s a loon too. And it is totally Trumps fault he got nominated and lost.

Multnomah County had yet to tabulate results from 80,000 ballots it has logged as received by 10 a.m. Wednesday, state and county websites showed. With Multnomah voters favoring Kotek over Drazan by a better than 70% to 30% margin, those untallied votes in Oregon’s biggest, bluest county can be expected to add another 30,000 votes to Kotek’s lead, The Oregonian/OregonLive projects.
Votes still untallied in other counties that favor Drazan, including Clackamas, Marion and Yamhill, won’t be sufficient to erode Kotek’s substantial margin, an analysis by The Oregonian/OregonLive shows.
New York Times is currently reporting that it’s a practical tie. With more than 95% reported, we have Adam Frisch with 154,122 votes to Boebert’s 154,060. 50.01% to 49.99.

This one will be tight (which is upsetting because Lake is really awful IMHO). This likely won’t be resolved for days yet.
First there will be the recount, then many legal battles and years later nobody will even remember why Prescott ended up burning to the ground in riots.

Coconino County is already set up to do hand counts, which they wanted to do before a judge said nope. They won’t cost the taxpayers as much as the ninjas did.
