NBC has called MI for El-Sayed.
MS Now has now called it for Sayed. I think I now need to go to bed. Nah Stevens you pox.
Yes. It does.
Right now there’s a second Republican running with 2% of the vote and Doppelganger Dan with 1.6% so if these results hold she’d almost certainly lose the runoff.
A new batch of votes in Alaska. The real Dan Sullivan just took the lead.
According to NBC:
Eileen Laubacher (D) 162,154 49.2%
Lauren Boebert (Incumbent-R) 157,200 47.7%
79.7% expected votes in (Est. remaining 85,000)
Biggest upset yet: Dems will narrowly flip TN-4, a district that Trump won by 24 points two years ago!
I got word that a couple polling places in Clark County NV are still open. Must have had some technical problem. But that’s why no votes counts released there.
They must have come from districts where Sullivan was expected to lead by even more than this, because it went from “tossup” to “leaning Peltola,” according to the NY Times.
Flipped to Fox News and their big takeaway of the night is: socialism.
Baffling.
Goodnight everyone. We did it. We voted blue no matter who, and we won big. God bless America.
I know there are a lot of House seats to go but near as I can tell, there has never been an election where one side didn’t flip a single seat
Alme (R) retains MT.
We’re down to AK, MS, and NE.
With 89% reporting, The Hill has called NE for Ricketts(R).
I could not agree more. Tonight’s decisions are the manifestation of bricks falling. Let’s celebrate tonight, and then immediately get to the work of delivering on our promises. Assuming we really can chew gum and walk at the same time, perhaps a subset of folks can be running the prosection game while the rest concentrate on moving this country forward.
I propose, to that end, that the next Democrat to mention “common sense bipartisan solutions” be publicly flensed.
I have to hope that all this new blood will see the end of old-school politics from old-school thinking. It’s a new generation finally getting their chance, and they seem like they know what needs to be done and have formulated ways to do it.
I see Maine has tossed Collins (R) for Senator Troy D. Jackson.
With 84% counted:
53.90% Democratic Party
339,711 votes Flipped the seat
“Common Sense” has been the buzz words that tells me the speaker is a Republican dumbass. Gag. I mean, if by “bipartisan” they mean they will STFU and hope not to be run out of town on a rail, we can play that game, for a bit.
Does Musk not have the Democrats (and everybody else) properly paid off and in his pocket? That is how it works. I guess we will now see.
Vikki Goodwin (D) has defeated incumbent Dan Patrick (R) in the Texas Lt. Governor race. 51.7% to 45.7%.
