JB Pritzker’s re-election has been called, seven minutes after the polls closed. ![]()
Denton County Tx went blue.
Kornacki reporting Denton Co going blue.
53.7% Talarico
44.9% Paxton
South Carolina Senate seat still looking very much within Democrats’ reach.
What took them so long?
Looks like your rep’s race already got called, @ZipperJJ!
The magic map on CNN shows Democrats leading in the Senate in TX, SC, OH, and KS, but behind in Maine. I swear Susan Collins has more political lives than a cat.
Acton looking good.
Collins way ahead in ME.
Fuck.
Nice, We expected this, but it is good to see it confirmed.
Collins is ahead of Jackson, but Talarico is way ahead of Paxton.
The gerrymandered districts are not working in Florida.
Albeit with a grand total of 22 votes counted thus far.
Now the NYT “needle” has Talarico at a 65% chance of winning.

Yeah, but AP is showing her at her election party without a furrowed brow in evidence.
Talarico is leading in Denton County with 70+% of the vote in. If you know that area it is pretty insane. I’m waiting for the Tarrant County/Fort Worth numbers to be able to breath a sigh of relief.
Pappas wins NH.
You got that right. I’m in Collin County and this is better than I ever expected thus far.

But there’s only 20-ish% of the ballots in…
That’s how it usually seems to go, IIRC, in regards to projections vs. ballots counted.
My mood right now (after basically not posting here since the 2024 election thread, when I was in retrospect comically overoptimistic) is… “don’t do that… don’t give me hope”.
