usernames... vote most/least original

The last time I made a lady’s heart a’fluttery, they slapped a restraining order on me and told me to quit stalking her.

Seriously, I don’t detest “me, too” posts. If I’m going to be the one making such a post, I’ll try to include something a little more substantive than just that, but if you agree with someone else, then why not “me, too”.

As for your offer to “clonk” me, depending on what it means, I must be pretty lucky to warrant “licking” from Diane and “clonking” from you!

I’ve always liked the names PurpleCrackWhore, FairyChatMom, and neurotrashgrrrl.

Mine has to go onto the unoriginal list since I am one of three beakers running around on this list (Grim_Beaker and beakeroni). However, no one else has thought to slap the letters xf onto the end of their name. (Hey, I need to feel a little bit original at least, so humor me.)

You are named after the guy (DJ?) from KABC in Los Angeles. He’s the ghuy who gave the nationally-broadcast play by play of O.J. Simpson’s infamous Bronco chase. Just a guess.

OR

You are named after a somewhat mysterious Scottish-Sicilian gunslinger and knife-handler from the early 20th century.

i]OR*

You are named after the “winkingjesus” guy, Reverend Jonathan C. Chance!

That’s it, isn’t it?

HOLY CRAP I MADE A LIST!!!

How did I not see this until now?? I am so happy! Thanks MSK!!
BTW, I really don’t deserve it. Bear Nenno happens to be my real name, so it wasn’t really creative. Original, definitely. But not creative.
And all you freaks were wondering what the hell a “Nenno” was.
he he he he he

Thank you, brachyrhynchos! My name is also from the Hitch-Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Wonko is a very obscure character only mentioned in the fifth book in the trilogy (odd series). His real name is John Watson, but he calls himself Wonko The Sane because that is what his mother called him (wonko) and as a scientist, it kept him from taking himself too seriously. (The sane part was because he thought the world was crazy)

What does brachyrhynchos mean?

Ah, Wonko: Always see things first. A very good motto for a scientist. Maybe that’s why your name stuck out! Glad to make your acquaintance.

My username means bristlebeak, a corvid characteristic and the species name for American Crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos). My own beak, being female, comes without bristles - I just like the subject and the sound. There seems to be a number of posters with corvid affinities: Corvidae, Corvus, The Raven, and myself (an ornithologist).

I just read this topic. It’s not really my forte…

But Im gonna vote for David B. It just so much sounds like his real name.

Mine for least Original. I’m changing it.

Hey Evilbeth!

Nope! I am NOT named after any of those three you named! But it wouldn’t surprise me if some of them took it from the same source!

Anyone else care to keep trying?
EB- Thanks for playing!

evilbeth – I made those same guesses for Jonathan! We should call him Jonathan the Obscure. No wait. That was Jude.

Heh… no mention.

Maybe I should just go with trying to remain stealthy-quietlike…

Hi, I’m Olentzero.

I have a four-digit post count. Lots of times it’s in here or IMHO, but sometimes it’s up in GQ when I know the answer to something.

I’ve never made a Crush or Laminated List, I’ve never been flirted with in a smutty thread, and now I find that nobody thinks my name is original. Must be way too obscure or something.

sigh What the hell does it take to impress the people around here?! :frowning:

Um… gee, who do I think is original? I kinda like Gaudere for some reason, probably 'cos it’s Latin-sounding. ssskuggiii is kinda cool too, though it reminds me of a pet squirrel whose name was Skugg. Drain Bead is up at the top of the list for sure!
