Using a GPS device to go to integer lat/lon locations

I read an article in my local paper describing how people with GPS devices try to visit every possible integer pair values of latitude/longitude (41N 77W, etc).

Does this kind of trekking have a special name?

Also, does anyone know of a list of all the possible pairs within the US and/or Canada?

Check out this site: http://www.confluence.org/ for all the information you’ll need. There’s a list of all the intersections around the world. The ones in the USA are organized by state.

If you’d like to visit Afganistan, only one of the 64 available has been documented. Have fun.
