It seems the enemies revert to starter enemies.
My question is, does Endless Mode let you get the 31 minute challenges done?

yep that’s how i got them done … although just to pad the advantage I used sigma lol
This is kinda nuts. A complete run on hardest mode with NO weapons (just uses Arcana and non-weapons). Not only that, this seems an OP build…with no weapons. I thought I was pretty good at the game (far from the best but not bad either) but I now realize I have a loooong way to go:
yay I finished everything but a couple of morebane secrets and a couple of characters
I’ve done all achievements, unlocked the sane characters, ie: not the one which unlocks rarely on picking up little clovers, (total collected/65335), which needs unlocked to get the other two. Other way is to type in spell stuff, which is cheating to me. So those don’t count as part of the game.
I found the secret where you had to get so far on a hard level with one weapon bad enough (Gyorunton). Seems that the no weapon is just a tad silly, but that dude can talk, had to stop the video because he was getting on my nerves.
i found the code for sigma and used her …she cleans up most challenges
Usually the major progress is getting Red Death, then once you have Sigma, that’s the main one. The three arcana at the start, plus speediness, and being as good as Red death makes her the game winner.
Sigma is so boring, she’s basically a cheat code. Red death it’s at least possible to lose if you’re messing around.
I agree. Though when I tried one of the normal characters I then died like a dog in one of the harder levels.
The downside to Sigma, which may not be obvious at this point, is that she is as good as she will ever be - she cannot be boosted with Eggs, unlike the other characters (my 3K Egg Trousers beats the pants off her. Yes, I know).
What does that mean when she instantly kills entire screens of enemies every time they appear?
Alright, so, how do I deal with the skeleton tsunami around level 12-15?
In the first map, The Mad Forest?
I miss the old vBulletin feature where you could click on the number of posts in a forum’s thread list to see a breakdown of who posted and how many times. So I’m just guessing that this is your first post in this thread, and you’re new to the game.
If you are new to the game, surviving the first map for 30 minutes is pretty friggin’ hard. It’s a non-trivial challenge that takes a bunch of tries and many failures. When you finally do complete it, you win some coins that you can spend on a couple permanent powerups, of which there are many. Every successful run on any map gets you coins, I think.
If you are just starting out, I might recommend bible, and maybe even garlic as well. Garlic is especially useful in the mad forest for the bat swarms.
EDIT: Also attractorb as one of your passives. That’s a hard requirement for me in any run. So I also take water, since that needs attractorb to evolve. I think you start with both of those available right out of the gate.
Click on the username. Unless their profile is hidden, there’s a button that lets you see all their posts in a thread. RickJay doesn’t have that button, meaning this is his first post here.
Nice! Thank you.
Curious about this, I used Sigma in the dairy factory with 1 weapon slot, got her loadout, then walked away at like minute 11. I came back to her having just died to Death. Stats: 101k enemies defeated, level 588, over 400M damage dealt. If you don’t mind, could you tell me what your Trousers would do?
You probably need to spend some coins for the meta-advancement. Looking back in this thread it looks like I beat the first level on my 8th or 9th run. I wouldn’t worry too much about it unless you’re on like run 25 and aren’t getting anywhere.
A couple tips though. Offense > defense. Evolved weapons >> base weapons.
I generally agree with you but the first time I was able to kill Death at 30 minutes was with Pummarola, Silver ring, Hollow Heart, Armor and evolved shield to Crimson Shroud (which includes a health buff).
I also had whips evolved that added health.
That defense made the 30-minute death thing almost trivial. I never beat him with more offense.
That tip is for a new player on the first map.
Doh!
My bad.
Sorry for missing that. Carry on.
Yeah, beating death is about defense or cheesing (and the shroud is kinda both).
