No offense here blink but if you don’t like vanilla flavor and you don’t like Coke it isn’t exactly surprising that you don’t like the combination. Why did you try it in the first place?
Could use a touch more vanilla, but I still thought it was delicious. And I like that they use natural flavor.

I might chose vanilla coke over plain coke, given the option.
I had a definite hate/like relationship with my first bottle. Years of drinking vanilla Coke from the DQ has given me a strict opinion of what the stuff should taste like. This didn’t taste like it. But it wasn’t awful, so I continued drinking. By the end, I had gotten used to it, so I may buy one on occasion since it’s much more convenient than sitting in the DQ drive through.
I just picked one up from the store and I’m drinking it right now. Tastes kinda like old coke. Not Coke from the 80s, I mean, Coke that’s been sitting out for a couple of hours. Sweeter, but no real distinct flavor difference to be honest.
Like others, I prefer making it myself when I’m in the mood.
I like it. It’s not a religious experience or anything, but it’s quite pleasant.

How come I’ve only ever heard of this stuff on the SDMB? Is this available in Chicago? I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m very interested in trying it for m’self.
