I cannot feel or see any differences , other than not seeing any
rugrats running around.

Just for the record the procedure is not fun. Not at all. It wasn’t all that painful but the mental bit was…unpleasant. As mine was being done I hear a sizzle and the doctor starts waving in a fan like motion while saying “Don’t breathe that in, its the smell of victory.” Blah.
I’m sure there are different ways of doing it, but in my case they made a very small incision, pulled the tubes out through the incision, cut them, cauterized the ends, and stuffed them back in. They were definitely sealed. I watched them do it (and smelled the cauterizing).
