VCO3's real problem with his neighbors: a shocking exposé!

ohhh ok I see. I was a little slow on the pigeon coup thing. Not well versed in the dog fighting lingo.

Don’t ask me. I’m not the expert on thuggery here.

They keep thim in pigeon coops on one of the upper floors, so they fight this breed, obviously.

The solution to VCO3’s neighbor problem is simple. He should make them a big pot of coffee and ask if they want to go camping.

pigeon coops have nothing to do with dog fighting. there just happened to be a dog in the picture VC03 posted and then fetus made up some weird story to go along with it.

I didn’t make up any weird story. VCO3 said that their having pigeon coops was evidence of their thuggish behavior. I didn’t know what that meant, knowing nothing about pigeon or dog training. When the picture he linked to showed dogs walking around the coops, I thought he meant the tenants were dogfighters. Don’t get pissed off at me for VCO3 giving the impression that pigeon coops were evidence of a thuggish criminal activity. If not, what the fuck were they in that list for?

The first time I heard of anyone who kept pigeons it was “Andy Capp”, and he was a wife beating drunk living on the dole. It’s generally a lower class hobby. I have no fucking clue why anyone jumped to the dog training idea. I also don’t know what is so darn suspicious of VCO3 not spelling out every reason why he didn’t want to confront his neighbors in his original IMHO thread. As a wild guess, maybe he didn’t want it to be another “VCO3& the Blacks” thread. If so, I guess that didn’t work out.

sorry, where I come from jumping to conclusions and putting words into someone’s mouth is considered making something up. VCO3 said nothing about dog fighting. Keeping pigeons is just part of urban black culture in some places. Haven’t you ever seen Friday, or Ghost Dog, or Training Day. They didn’t just throw pigeons into those movies for no reason. Hell, I think Mike Tyson was well known for raising pigeons.

Did I miss something - where did it say there was dog fighting going on?
If it is and the pigeon coop is somehow involved, how is it connected, isn’t a pigeon coop too small to hold dog fights in or am I being really dumb?

I’ve already answered this enough times. I’ll go ahead and wait until you guys come down from the shrooms and demonstrate your ability to conduct a rational discussion that involves actually reading my posts.

you mean the posts where you brought up dog fighting based on absolutely nothing?

How cute, we’re all on drugs.

He didn’t seem to imply. You simply inferred it because there were dogs in the picture he provided. Kind of a bizarre inference, IMHO.

apparently, in fetus’ mind: dogs + black people = dogfighting

Actually with a little poking around, I think I see why fetus jumped to a conclusion. The picture link has “training” and “dog” in the url. However, the website is about training bird dogs (for hunting) and one section is about using trained birds to train your dogs with.

So we are pitting fetus now? Pittings have become very complicated things of late. It is hard to keep track who we are supposed to dislike at any given moment.

Oh, no. Wait. It is only cynical313 trying to push the idea that fetus is linking dogfights to black people.

this is boring. I’m bored now.

So go get those crayolas and spice this up.

yes, because I wasn’t being sarcastic or anything.

Oh, “the I fucked up so I say whoosh” stratagem. Gotcha ya!

you could use the fact that in all my posts on the subject I only once said that fetus links black people and dogfighting. I would think that statement was ridiculous enough that you wouldn’t take it seriously. unless maybe you think dogfighting and being black are related. If so, that’s your business.

I really hate to do this, because I know we are pitting fetus now, and not cynical313, but as Black Myth Buster Woman, I must express shock that pigeon raising is a part of black culture. But since you qualified it with ‘in some places’, I am going to take this as an opportunity to do some research and see if this bears out. I am aware of Mike Tyson, and I don’t put much stock in Hollywood movies, but I am warning you, cynical,…if I find out that pigeon raising isn’t, after all, a part of black culture, I will be starting a Pit thread about it, so you just watch out.

ETA ; Well, I’ll be damned. According to my husband, it is a part of black culture in some places. Ok.
