Obviously last week’s alternate ending had no bearing on this week’s episode. Would it have if it had gotten more votes than the original ending? Was there a different episode on tape somewhere to air if the results had been different?

Maybe, but I doubt it, but it may have shown up in the plot line somewhere along the way.

And…
killing off Meg-- that’s sort of a cop-out for Duncan and Veronica’s relationship, unless there turns out to be more to her death than meets the eye.

I still think the “bloodclot” will turn out to be a phony story. I think it will be revealed Meg’s mom did it.

Also, I find it sort of unlikely that a sensitive guy like Duncan could deal with the pretend baby last week without seeming sort of sad and/or pre-occupied, thinking about his actual child. And when did he find out about the baby? It’s sort of slimy of him to dump Meg and go after Veronica (without telling Veronica what she’s getting herself into) if he already knew about the pregnancy.

I think that Sherriff Lamm will intervene to prevent Meg’s parents from taking custody of the baby.

He’ll intervene for his own reasons, not for the altruistic one of saving the baby - Veronica’s been charged with that responsibility. It will be revealed, somehow, that Lamb was abused as a child (it was hinted to a few weeks ago in the Gracie story line). He’s going to go all SVU on their asses.
