Regarding the mystery portion of our evening, is anyone else getting a little tired of the concept that Veronica is supposed to be this great investigator but she alsways seems to solve her little Scooby-Doo mysteries almost by accident?
I’m getting a little tired of their one main plot technique:
There’s a mystery that has an obvious solution (e.g., high school teacher got a student pregnant). Veronica finds out that it’s the opposite of what everybody thinks (hah! she’s not really pregnant!). Then she finds out she’s wrong, and it is exactly what everybody thinks, only not (whoops, he got a different girl pregnant).
