Beaver can’t just be a virgin; how experienced could Mac be? My guess is that he had a single previous attempt that turned out very badly. He may have (stupidly) confided in Dick, who teases him about his sexual inadequacy all the time and may be preying on a known weakness. The idea of having sex with Dick in the same building is probably horrifying him, but there must have been a previous negative experience for him not to even try to make other arrangements.
They have to get back together. They’re just too perfect a couple not too.
I’m paranoid that Cassidy had something to do with the bus crash. It sounds crazy, but it was engineered so that the rich kids wouldn’t be on the bus when it crashed. I don’t know what his motive would be, but leave it to this show to throw a curveball like that and have it make sense when you look back. That’s my nutso, half-assed theory of the day.
Well, his little real estate ventures are definitely tied to the whole incorporation scheme that seems to play an important role in this season’s plot arc. I don’t see Beaver as a criminal mastermind, but it’s possible that he’s acting as proxy for his father (who’s remained conveniently out of the limelight for almost the entire season). I don’t see how the bus crash would immediately help his cause, but perhaps one of the victims Knew Too Much.
Perhaps he’s shunning Mac to protect her from the serious shit he’s involved in.
The shot in the parking lot with Logan, Woody and everyone else was outside Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. This was supposed to be old Shark Stadium apparently. For new Shark Stadium they used Petco Park in San Diego earlier in the season.
But yeah, when they switch to Veronica and Keith watching the stadium implode on TV, that’s Three Rivers. You can see the water in front of the stadium (since the cameras were on the other side of the Ohio). And Qualcomm isn’t on any water.
I don’t know that the stadium is in Neptune itself, though it must be in the same county for Woody to be in charge of the implosion. Neptune seems to be a northern suburb of San Diego, so it’s probably a San Diego stadium without being in the actual city.
Yeah, Dick Sr. clearly was so concerned about his kids, he fled the country without them and never looked back. He might not have even noticed if Cassidy died.
