My UPN reception wasn’t that great, so I couldn’t tell if the shoes from the crime scene matched the shoes in the evidence bag or not.
I liked Ducan’s pirate points solution, tho why band wasn’t worth PPs before is odd.

First off I mean the Nov 2 episode.
I just realized that shoes were a match. The reason that is important is that Lilly had her shoes on in the crime scece photo. It was implied that her shoes were found in the suspects possession. Which is an obvious contradiction.
At 1st I thought the suspect was paid to confess, but now that he has refused all appeals and will be executed that seems less likely.

VM was one of the few actual shows on last night.
Plus, it helps that she is hot !
I din’t care about the stupid election at all (I mean the one on VM; I cared a lot about the real life stupid election). But I’m interested in the ongoing plot about Lilly Kane, and I just ***loved ** * the subplot about Logan and his dad. Harry Hamlin was perfect as Logan’s father. Logan is such a slimeball character, it’s interesting that the writers are showing a window on his life to explain how he got that way, without turning it into a Very Special Episode.
This is a good little show. IMO it’s ten thousand times better than the train wreck that is Smallville, and that’s, what, in its fourth season? I hope VM lasts that long.
I think the implication was that the “cool” kids controlled the program and made sure only the “cool” extracuricular activities got points.
Personally, I thought the whole school plot was weak this week. The voting scam was ridiculous, there was the typical TV irreality of a supposed major school figure appearing out of nowhere, the old friendship between Veronica and what’s-her-name was implausible, the bum fight plot and the gas station vet character were poorly handled, the teacher advisor was completely unbelievable, and while I realize the show is going to stretch reality, it went went way overboard this week with the way Veronica was doing things at school. She suddenly turned into Ferris Bueller with the way she was running everything.
The episode was saved somewhat by the introduction of Logan’s family life, the new clues in the Lilly Kane case, and the generally good quality of the show (as in; even a bad episode of this series is better than an average episode of most others).
I agree with you, adding that it was the “cool and rich” kids that control the program. But sadly it just didn’t make all that much sense. I mean, in my high school, even the scruffy kids from the wrong side of the tracks could (and did) play sports.
