Veronica Mars season 4

OK just checked it back, there were only 2 shots each, and he shows up at the end of the episode with 2 bullet wounds, spotted by quad guy. I don’t really believe the Mexicans would possibly fail to kill in that situation, but at least I understand the plot flow now

The redneck family was easily the worst-executed part of the season. Completely one-dimensional. Their daughter/sister died but all they care about is the ring? Veronica Mars is usually so good at writing well-rounded characters, even the bad guys. I also thought the Sheriff was a bit under-written. Lamb was a much better foil.

I was also upset at the ending, but it was probably the right choice for future storytelling.

I absolutely loved the exchange between Veronica and Keith where they’re both using very silly old-timey noir-detective slang. I can’t remember any of it but it was great.
I think thats a bit revisionist of him, from what I heard he did not expect to get a season 5 so he wrote off logan, and said it was his biggest gamble. The only confirmation we got that the character was dead was kristen bell and a few others posting that V had seen and identified the body etc.

Reality was that Logan was in Naval inteligence, and Kit Harrington swore that Jon Snow was dead so my trust in what the actors say is a bit strained. I can see bringing him back and V kept in the dark for reasons.
My thoughts on the season ending twist:

I’m not upset that Logan is gone. Now, Veronica can move on to Piz or possibly Deputy Leo, both of whom are better than Logan.

Must … Not … Open … Spoiler …

After watching season four, I went back and rewatched the first three seasons, the movie, then season four again. The series managed to avoid the Suck Fairy.
