Damn gerbils…sigh
I was going to post a thread about the return of VM as well, but was too lazy to get it in today. I’m glad the show is back, and hope that it gets picked up for another season. Although I will say that I don’t understand what networks are doing with these schedules. With shows that have a large rabid fan base (House, Heroes) you can get away with a long hiatus between shows. With VM struggling to get picked up for another season, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to have these large gaps. I’m not even confident that BSG will take off with the same “umph” after almost a year of being off air.
yea! VM is back! Smallville and Supernatural are back as well. I actually have a reason to tune to the WB now!
Dob, the WB would like you to know that they’ve been the CW for nearly a year now.
I hope this last batch of episodes are good, and I’ll be very surprised if the show gets renewed. Why shell out the money to make TV’s lowest-rated drama when you can make more episodes of Who Wants to Be a Stripper?
hahahahahah…
Dob would like to thank cbawlmer for correcting him! Cracked me up
So does this mean that we now know who the new Pussycat Doll is? Thank God, now I’ll be able to sleep at night again.
I don’t know her name, but I think she was the one with the big hair and boobs.
That’s the real insult. Not only did they take VM off for two months, they replaced it with that porn drivel. “Hey, you! Have a brain? Some dignity? Think you have a reason to watch TV on Tuesday night? Not anymore!”
The hell with it. I say we just snuggle up with Roni for as long as we can, and let the chips fall where they may.
So these next five are going to be standalone, right? I’ve never cared for the Mystery of the Week as much as the seasonal arcs, but I suppose time is limited and another big mystery is out of the question.
Anyway, I’m glad Veronica’s back. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for season 4.
Perk up little campers! They are tenatively planning a fast forward of four years, dumping most of the cast and putting Veronica in the FBI. Here is the current rumor:
I’m pretty sure her name is “Asia.” Actually, I’m kind of sure her name isn’t “Asia” but she calls herself that while trying out to be the Next Pseudowhore Moll.
And I desperately want the brain cell being used to store that information back.
If you follow the link you can watch a trailer for tonights episode, and it does not look like its been fast forwarded.
NEXT season would be fast-forwarded, if they do it at all. This season continues like normal.
I enjoy the stand alone mysteries but I like them when they’re woven in with the extended plot. I was hoping we’d get one more arc before it goes away…
Nice. Dick gets screwed, or, more accurately, not screwed.
Did anyone else absolutely love the homage to Pulp Fiction, ergo with a paint gun instead of a real one.
“Say ‘what’ again!”
“What?”
(pow!)
“Check out the brain on Brett.”
So is this now the official discussion thread, spoilers permitted?
So Veronica confronts paintball guy, saying that somebody vandalized the restaurant. He says, “Someone painted ‘terrorist’ on the restaurant???”
Veronica said nothing about the word “terrorist.” This should have been a sure sign that he was guilty… and yet he wasn’t. Seems to me that the writers goofed.
Check out Piz and his hypnotic lips!
Good ep overall. Decent MOTW, not overly mawkish in the flag waving. I liked how the vandal didn’t have some big epiphany after talking with the restaurant guy.
No, the ***real * ** insult was that the stupid stripper show got substantially higher ratings than VM. I made it quite clear to all my friends if they watched that show they weren’t allowed to be my friends any more. Tragically, my influence over millions of Americans isn’t as strong as it used to be.
