It’s cute and is really more of a “catching up” than anything else. I liked it.
Lies, all lies. Well, partial lies: Luna is in fact married to Gabrielle Delacour, and they’re happily living in a small magical town near Northhampton, Massachusetts.
That is really fun. Rita Skeeter sounds like some Muggle columnists I’ve read. Bet she could get a good job at Fox “News” if she wanted to.
The new HP section at Universal Orlando opened today - Diagon Alley. Coincidence?
Rita just hasn’t mellowed much with age, hasn’t she? Her pen simply drips with venom and snark.
Nice story. I like the dimension it adds to the characters.
Harry’s busy Auroring and got into some kind of skuffle to get the new scar.
Ginnys’ a reporter.
Hermione is moving on up in the Ministry of Magic.
Ron is co-runng WWW with a wealthy George.
Ol’ Neville and his wife are doing well for themselves at Hogwarts.
Luna and family are doing good.
And Lupins kid is doing well for a half-werewolf. Although I thought I read somehwere that he did not inherit the werewolfiness.
I saw, on SyFy of all places, an hour special about Diagon Alley the other day. Maybe on Sunday or Monday. It looks really really cool. They had the actors who played Fred, George and Ginny there and they were showing them around.
They really got a kick out of Weaslys’ Wizard Wheezes and were playing with some of the merchandise.
They kept commenting on how authentic it looked and how big it was and how big the inside of Gringotts Bank was. They were saying that alot of the time when filming the sets were in pieces so they never saw the whole thing together in one piece and how cool it was to finally see it all together.
I thought one of the coolest things was that you can get a wand and that a lot of the window displays had items that would do things if you pointed your wand at them.
I thought Ginny went pro in Quidditch? What’s she doing being a sideline bimbo?
