Forgive me if this already beiing discussed in another thread, I tried a search but VH1 is too short.

What is the deal with the VH1 show on rock bands in prison? Are they promoting the bands or are just doing a documentary?

I have never seen the show.

I think it’s just a documentary. Of course, one can argue that exposure equals promotion, but I don’t think that’s what you mean.
