Jardinains is the cutest, funniest and one of the most sadistic games I’ve seen. It’s similar to Breakout (if anybody even remembers THAT game)except with mean little elves who throw flower pots at you. You are trying to not only bust down all the bricks but also knock down the elves. When you DO knock them down, ou can bounce them off your little pad at the bottom and collect points. There are devices that pop up randomly to help or hinder you, such as the infamous Double InPointed Arrows which shorten your pad to less than a millimeter. THere’s also my favorite…the Banana Peel of Certain Doom, which causes all the little elves to fall from their perches.
I just wish they’d stop laughing at me. Evil little elves! You will be obliterated!Muahahahhahahaha!
I have a rule against putting Jardinains on my home computer. When I’m stuck on a site waiting for someone to do a build or whatever… take that, you bastard Santas!!!
Geobabe turned me on to this particular vice a few months ago. I’m the opposite of j.c., I have it at home, but putting it on the work computer would quickly lead to my career going down the tubes. It’s evil, evil I tell you!

Damn you I_Dig_Bad_Boys! I just had to look, and couldn’t resist the temptation (just for a quick try, of course). I am hopelessly addicted now. There goes my marriage, my life, my job. Thanks a whole lot!
It runs fine on my XP system. I got a new computer a few months ago, and had to get used to how much faster it runs on the new machine. Those little jerks really fly!
Muahaha. Thanks to that link I brought an entire IRC channel to it’s knees. Gnomes everywhere.
I managed to beat it relatively quickly (ok, I cheated for lives, but I was getting frustrated with the constant restarts), so the addiction has now passed. ::twitch:: Must… kill… gnomes…
