What is the NFL doing about tickets for the Vikings v. Cowboys game? I doubt many Minneapolis people are going to drive the 12+ hours to the game.
For the Vikings-Cowboys game? Nothing.
For the Vikings-Giants game, the one that was moved to Detroit - Ford Field is distributing free tickets, first come first serve.
Oops.
Are the tickets to the “Metrodome” game refundable?
I’m going to get in line right now! Wait, no I’m not.
Today - snow, 20+ mph winds
Tonight - snow, 20+ mph winds
Tomorrow - snow, 20+ mph winds
Fortunately, Ford Field has a solid roof, if the skylights don’t fall in.
The tickets in Detroit for the game are free.
Still 8.50 for a beer.
I heard if you had tickets to the game in the Metrodome, you’d get preferred seating at Ford Field… and Metrodome tickets are otherwise refundable.
I’ve given serious consideration to making the drive to see the game. Sounds like a good time!
Wish I knew someone with some Vikes tix here in Chicago I could steal to score those 50 yard line seats.
Yep - if you already had tickets and can make it to Detroit, they’ll upgrade you to the best seats available. Season ticket holders can get a refund if they’re not able to make it. (Not sure about non-season ticket holders, tho’ I assume they’d get a refund too.) Otherwise, general admission tickets to the game are free.
I’m betting they’ll get a bunch of people there tonight.
The line for tickets is around the stadium. People have been in line since 2AM.
I fixed the thread title.
Anyone know if this game will be televised?
It’ll be on Fox if you’re in the right regions (around Minnesota and New York), otherwise you need NFL Sunday Ticket. Which is too bad, because I would rather watch that than the Baltimore Houston game.
If I understand this correctly, Fox will televise this game in the NYC and Minneapolis markets. Additionally, for those of us that have DirecTV Sunday Ticket the game will be available via that package (not sure what channel). NFL Network will have the game on tape delay at midnight EST.
That BAL-HOU game is on ESPN.
I know, I’m saying I wish they would air the Minnesota game instead, since I’m not in the region to view it.
To put it simply, the game will be televisied to exactly the same audience that was going to get to see it yesterday at 1pm.
Not all of New York. We got the Baltimore/Houston game in the western part of the state.
