Not sure if it was obvious or not, but I’m definately in for the dinner. If we come up short and they hit us off with a charge you won’t be in it alone bristlesage. I’ll help cover the penalties with you if the Dopers don’t show like they said they were going to. Your going through too much trouble to get dicked all alone. Of course if we have to do this then the dopers who said they were going to come but don’t will owe us. Nothing major. Something small, like say, their first born child.
So RSVP and mean it people!!! Y’all have to represent or I’ll tell everyone what a bunch of wussies you are at the NYC Megadopefest in January. And people remember what gets said at those parties. They may not remember how they got into the bed they woke up in, nor who exactly it sleeping next to them, but they remember the gossip. Well, maybe not. It appears we missed the ridiculously small window of opportunity for buying a reasonably priced ticket. So unless a miracle happens in the next couple days, no Geobabe either.
If you are in Miami, check with National Airlines - hometown airlines, non-stop to LV. Supposedly, they implemented a new policy that all flights cost the same whether you buy them 60 days in advance, or 5 minutes in advance.
