Anyone else vomit in the New Year? I didn’t even get to have any fun drinking before the vomiting. I got the stomach flu or food poisoning, probably stomach flu.
Yep, me and my mom both. At least we both got our champagne before we got sick.
The fiancee did this morning. She never does that, and I always do. What other reversals does 2011 have in store for us?
Oh yes. But I did it the old fashioned way, by not eating enough (one of the side effects of wearing a corset is a diminished appetite!) and drinking too much. Blergh. At least booze-and-water puke isn’t so unpleasant. And my designated driver was a peach, getting me safely tucked into my own bed.
Oh well. At least I looked fabulous until I started puking.
Not this year, but my first real hangover was on New Year’s Day a few years ago. And I puked, then went back to bed and wished for death once the post-puke “Oh, I feel much better now” feeling passed.
The only times I’ve puked as an adult is as part of a hangover, and it’s only happened a few times. Bleah. The only good part of puking is how much better you feel immediately afterwards.
So none of you are “vomit free since '93”? Feel better!
I saw the thread title and assumed it was the OP’s New Year’s resolution. You know, every week from now on or something like that.
No, but only because on the previous Tuesday, I went out with friends.
I did something the following morning I have never done before as a result of a hangover - I had the dry heaves. It was dreadful. Dreadful doesn’t cover it. It was the worst ever thing ever in the history of bad things that happen during hangovers.
With the memory of this in mind, I had a dry NYE…
I vomited every half for the whole night.
- Feel terrible
- Go to bathroom
- Vomit
- Cold sweats
- Feel some level of euphoria
- Rinse mouth, brush teeth
- Go back to bed, pass out
- Repeat with less coming out each time
