I had just crafted a fine post about my experiences at a television show taping my wife and I attended last night.
It had insults, ironic comparisons, sucking up to Alphagene and Fenris, laughter, the use of the word “punani” and a link.
I hit “Preview Post” for one last look - and poof! Gone.
Damnit learn! Copy before you hit any buttons.
Is the window still open? Sometimes you can back up to before you submitted and it will still be there.
Either way that bites!
They also appear to have vomited a spurious ‘P’ into the title of this thread.
I tried everything. I even went digging through my IE cache folder looking for any part of it.
Hmmm… I used the letter “p” in my original post. Maybe they blew it up and fragments are landing all around… This could be the cause of any spelling errors on the board for the next day or so.
I cherish any and all uses of the word “punani”. I am a bit saddened.
You know, ever since ITHamster got that dancing gig over at that other site things haven’t been the same.
Oh sure, they’ve got dancing hippos and dancing Jesus now, but that hasn’t helped Hamster with his swelled head. You give ‘em 15 minutes and they think they’'re better’n all the other server wheel-turners.
Not necessarily Mang, “hampsters” could be a reference to either animals that live in a hamper, or the denizens of the Hamptons. Either one would be pretty insidious.
Listen photopat; I know what I’m talking about here; hamsters have capacious cheek pouches which are ideal for storing consonants.
