Waco Jacko interview

I feel bad for the guy.

He’s obviously a shy, self-conscious person, and has upwards of 100’s of millions of people laughing at him at any given time.

That being said, Diogenes’ post kind of changed my mind about the pedo thing.

  1. The mannequins in his hotel room.

  2. The green burqa that he kept Blanket in. (Why not have it in the contract that if the kids faces appear then they must be digitally blurred.)

  3. The back pedal he did on the official story of his relationships with the kids’ moms after Prince Michael I said “I don’t have a mommy”.

I thought he said Liz Taylor was his mother too, then backtracked.

I can’t get over his feelings of “betrayal”- you were paid $5 million to let a camera man film you for 8 months… How confidential did you think anything you said would be, and why on Earth would you think that he wasn’t going to be as sensationalistic as possible to get ratings? And the comments about sleeping with kids were not out-of-context- they were shown in big 10 minute blocks.

I’m not one of those who is laughing at him. I think he is a very tragic, wounded person. I truly feel bad for his kids. They are growing up with an extremely warped and isolated view of the world. MJ needs therapy, tons and tons and tons of it. He is not emotionally equipped to be a parent, and god hep those boys when they get to Michael’s target age.

Ostensibly, to protect their identity from potential kidnappers. Which is a pretty stupid explanation, if you think about it. It’s not what they look like that would matter to a kidnapper. Assuming a kidnapper could penetrate the phalanx of security guards Jackson hires, are we supposed to imagine that Jackson keeps his children’s rooms stocked with a bunch of stand-in children alongside the real ones to throw off kidnappers into abducting the “fakes”?

On a different topic, I am puzzled by the assumption that some people have, when they say that “Michael is not a pedophile, he’s just childish,” that childhood = asexuality. Anyone with an honest recollection of his or her childhood, especially boys at age 12 (which appears to be Michael’s emotional age), knows that children are sexual, are intrigued by their bodies and the bodies of other children, and are fascinated and aroused by sexual things. Jackson’s “childhood innocence” thing just doesn’t wash.

Smoking Gun (www.thesmokinggun.com) has the affidavids from the cases mentioned earlier in the thread if anyone is curious.
Can’t comment on their contents as I haven’t read them shudder

There are a lot of people out there who have no business being a parent, for whatever reasons. For someone who comes from a dysfunctional childhood to be eager to have many children so he can “do it right” comes as no surprise to me; for all I know about the subject, that may be a typical response. If Michael Jackson never got sufficient love or play time in childhood, then I pity him. If he was taught that sex is bad or sinful, or was given messages about sex before he was ready to handle it (let alone the possibility of sexual abuse), and subsequently has great difficulty with having anything like a normal sex life as an adult, then I pity him.

However, I do wonder why people react so strongly to him and his situation. I wonder if it doesn’t come down to something like, “Anyone with that much money shouldn’t be unhappy,” or the idea that, as with Diana, we love to see big rich and famous and beautiful people having all kinds of problems. Then we can reassure ourselves that we’re okay: “I may not live in a mansion, but I have the love of my family and friends,” etc. I mean, we can’t do anything about Michael and his kids, the young boys, the money, the shopping, whatever. Even the shopping spree scene seemed to indicate “Look! Even having a zillion dollars doesn’t mean you have good taste” or “I sure wouldn’t want to live alone in a mansion decorated for a king or an emperor. I’d rather stay in my humble one-bedroom apartment.” It’s almost as if people are angry at him for being unhappy, or weird, and all the other stuff is really secondary.

Hope that made some kind of sense.

I don’t think it’s that I like to see Michael Jackson “having all kinds of problems,” and I disagree with the statement “anyone with that much money shouldn’t be unhappy.” If anything, Michael Jackson exemplifies how having a lot of money facilitates the opportunity to be weird in ways those with average incomes or even moderate wealth cannot imagine. You never know how seriously bent someone is until they have the ways and means to make their fantasies reality.

Did anyone else notice this - it happened real quick. It happened when he was feeding “Blanket” and Bashir tried to help him by moving the veil off the baby’s head. Michael obviously became very agitated and tried to keep the veil on, but at one point, MJ cries out “OUCH!” Like he was speaking for the baby. Like removing the veil was causing pain to Blanket. Like he was saying, “Look at what my child has said to you!”

Ouch???

Also, the creepiest part had to be when that 12-year old kid was holding MJ’s hand and resting his head against his shoulder. Man, that was just waaaaay wrong. What 12-year old boy likes to touch ANYONE??? It’s rare when a 12-year old boy touches his FATHER, much less any other male. But he was holding on to Michael like that, it was like MJ was his girlfriend… or some sort of “partner.”

Actually, I really don’t think he’s done anything sexually with any of those kids. I’m not saying his behavior is appropriate at all, but I really don’t think MJ has a sexual thought in his head.

But to me, the bottom line is that he really, really hates his Father and resents all that represent his Father. His Father ridiculed him, beat him and essentially, took away his childhood. I believe that MJ wants to be the exact antithesis of his Father, so that he will never become like his Father…

Joe is big - MJ is small and frail
Joe is dominating - MJ is passive
Joe is masculine - MJ is feminine
Joe is black - MJ is white and has removed all traces of ever being black
Joe is a man - MJ is essentially a woman.

He is rejecting his Father in every way possible. He is rejecting ANYTHING that reminds him of Joe. Joe was surrounded by black children, so in the painting on his walls, he is surrounded by “white kids/angels.” I just find it odd that there are no black kids depicted anywhere at all!

And finally, vitaligo, to my knowledge, is a disease which appears in spots. And the loss of pigment is all at once. It doesn’t gradually lighten you up over the years… and equally over your entire body. It’s a “blotchy” kind of spotty pigment loss.

Prepared to be creeped out. From the 13-year-old boy’s affidavit filed against Jackson in 1993:

Oh, and it does get worse, but that should be enough.

I don’t want think that kids are asexual. But, I do think that MICHAEL is asexual. There’s a big difference.

Question? What Mother would let any children (MJ’s or anyone else’s) be anywhere near Michael Jackson. I can not believe the mother’s of these three children would give up parental rights and custody to this wierdo.

I wish someone would interview either of these two women - who don’t want to be mother’s to their own children.

Can somebody track down Macaulay Culkin and ask him what their relationship was?

FWIW, I hated this “documentary,” although I watched every minute of it. Hmm.

Did we really need Bashir and Walters repeatedly using words like “bizarre” and “disturbing”? Wouldn’t it have been possibly to present the information and let us make up our own minds?

I think what bugged me the most was how Bashir tried to present himself as a Defender of Children. He made sure we heard him saying “I’ve got Prince! I’ve got Prince!” at the zoo, as if PMJ would have been torn apart if not for the heroic journalist. Somehow he survived without him up to that point. He describes how disturbed he was concerning the disadvantaged children at Neverland, but doesn’t strongly confront MJ until after completing the principal shooting, almost as an afterthought.

And if you’re going to plant the idea that a 12-year-old boy is involved in a sexual relationship with a celebrity, don’t identify said 12-year-old by name and personal history and show repeated closeups of him, you sleazeball.

I still think they were after money. There is no amount of money in the world that would hush me up if some freak molested my kids.

Would you pay a false accuser 25 million dollars to shut up? The police believed this kid. The DA’s office believed this kid. The only reason they didn’t file criminal charges against MJ is because he paid the kid not to testify.

BTW, there’s no such thing as an “asexual” male.

I tihnk Wacko Jacko is extremely clever… He’s been all over the news for hte past week. His name is on everybody’s lips. And oh yeah…in the past week his record sales have soared. Some shows have even sold out of his albums.
Of course that was a just a happy side effect…nobody saw that coming at all. right?
He was paid for all of this free publicity! Ok maybe he’s not that clever, but somebody in his camp obviously is.

Well, at that point it will be Michael being balcony-dangled by* them*.

Can you say dysfunction? Sure. I knew you could.

The whole thing is just very sad. I do not derive one bit of pleasure by dissing MJ. I wish he had the sense to get therapy. I wish his children were being raised differently. But, I wish this for all ordinary people as well.

it makes the baby NinetyWt cry :frowning:

“Male” here refers to one’s physical gender. “Asexual” here refers to one’s libido. From Merriam-Webster:
