At the end of your -------------- sorry, I forgot you already gave at the office. Sort of.

Have I ever mentioned that sometimes I’m ashamed of myself?

I am thinking more ---------

metal mouse, are you my mother’s son? :stuck_out_tongue: She was always a fan of braunsweiger, although her preferred brand was Echrich.

The day from hell is over (at least the hard part). As if being a month end Monday after a holiday weekend isn’t bad
enough on itsnown merits, I was caffeine deprived (new security policy) , had problems going through the metal detector and landed in HR before lunch. The afternoon did improve, but errands and the drive home were in the rain and dark.

At least tomorrow isn’t Monday.

One of these takes 10-15 mins to inflate, but go ahead, use a foot pump & see how long it takes you.

Brats and N.O.T.'s were a success. Enjoyed Jeopardy!, especially the outcome. RPing with a friend now, and relaxing.

ekemom’s Kindle Fire was supposed to come today, but we got a notice on the door from UPS instead. Which means I’ll have to stay home tomorrow.

Dude.

Dad bought me one of these when I was a kid. I don’t know what the hell happened to it.

You folks are very sick people who have intercourse with their female parents. :dubious:

Dude, can you say “Federal Offense”?
See 18 U.S.C. § 32 : US Code - Section 32: Destruction of aircraft or aircraft facilities

Home from work. I’m off tomorrow.

Nah, it was Italian themed. I had a martini.

I loved that one!

{{{{Sari}}}}

Dang it! Is new furnace out already? Breathe in breathe out. Slowly.

It’s fixed, something about the gas line being dirty. I don’t know, but it works.

No **Flytrap
** there are no flaps covering up doohickies.
I need my doohickies but I didn’t think to look for them because I thought all land lines came with them.

My mother called three times, I was finally able to call her back. The husband of Niece1 is coming up this way early in the morning and is bringing some stuff from Sah-son’s room for us. His TV and TV stand, and I have no idea where he is going to fit them in his room. I have no idea what time the NIL is coming but from what I understand it will be early.
I’m so glad they asked me if it was convenient before making the plans.

I managed not to scream at ‘friend’.

Intercourse? Heck – I’m not even speaking to mine!

I cringe whenever I hear from mine.

Happy Toosday.

I’m up but not happy about it.
It’s 40 outside and supposed to get up to 48 today. Then back up into the ow 50s for the rest of the week. I still get cold very easily.

I need some breakfast. Then try to find out what time I can expect company.

A certain canine decided we needed to be up at 4. We ignored her as long as we could, which was less than half an hour. **FCD **got up and fed her, then hit the shower. I dragged myself out of bed a few minutes later. We got all of our morning stuff done and both of us were out of the house before 5. It’s gonna be a long day. And it’s raining. ick.

(((sari))) - sounds like major suckage is hovering over your abode. Hope things get better.

Meanwhile, I’ve got 2 gigantic drawings to fix and 4 smaller ones to deal with. Payback for yesterday’s idleness.

Happy soggy Tuesday!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 57 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 79 for the day. We shall allegedly have rain tomorrow and then temps cool down to low 60s for highs. We shall see.

{{{Sari}}} here’s hopin’ for a better day today.

OK, that’s all I got for now. More caffeine is required as is the feedin’ of rumbly tummy. Then, alas and alack, 'tis back to irk for da bear so purtification must commence. At least it’s only a four day week.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Blurf. Up, A&W’d, and played the Purdue game, hanging like 118 points on the hapless Boilermakers. Seriously, as an Indiana fan, fuck those guys.

Now relaxing in bed; may RP or something. It’s raining outside; I can hear it on the metal roof.

Blurf.

(((((Sari))))) - I hope today turns out better for you and Teh Suck slopes off somewhere else.

Today is a short irk-day for me, I have an appointment at the horsepistol this afternoon for an ultrasound on my eye. Never had one of those before so that will be excitipating. I expect it’ll be one of those things where they never bother to tell me what they find, provided it’s nothing serious. I can live with that sort of thing.

Tomorrow I have to see my GP as well, another routine thing but I could do without it as it’s getting in the way of my baking plans. We have a cake sale at work on Friday and I’ve rashly promised them a couple of cakes so now I have to get them made. If I’m back from the hospital early enough today, I’ll get one done before I go to the gym, and tomorrow I should be able to get the other one in the oven before I head out to the pub.

Ho hum. Back to irk…

As a Purdue graduate, if I cared at all about sports or my alma mater, I might just be upset about your comments, flipper, but I didn’t care when I was there, and 36 years later, I care even less.

Stupid Creo crashed while I was in the middle of fixing a drawing. Stoopit program. It should have rebooted by now, so, BYE!

Would be nice to sleep better. Fortunately, I have tomorrow off.

Yesterday was “fun”. Lots of attendance problems, in several departments. I had a call-out, plus another who called out, then showed up. The already-shorthanded cashiers had a NCNS (turned out she’d been in a traffic accident, supposedly), so I was desperately needed as a backup. I had to borrow someone from another department to have a chance at keeping up on my department’s tasks. Then there were the piranha swarms more politely called “customers”…

Thank y’all for the hugs and sympathy.

I hope the suckage does move on.
I need to talk to ‘friend’ and somehow get it through her head that calling me repeatedly is not going to work. If anything, it starts to piss me off and then I won’t answer the phone at all.

Sah-son is spazzing out as well. It’s the countdown to the end of classes. Last night he had to post on the message board, the post has to include pictures and he can’t get the pictures to show up. Fortunately it’s not due until tomorrow and I told him I’d help him figure it out. I know there’s a way to do it, I think he is skippng a step. He also has a paper due in APA format as opposed to MLA format, and needs to have a Power Point presentation with it. I told him I’d help with that too. I don’t remember shit about Power Point, I haven’t used it in well over 10 years. I can’t find my CD to download it and I’m not too impressed with the free version. I’m not buying it, then again maybe I should. If he will need it in other classes it will be worth it. I told him be glad he doesn’t have to go to the college and give the PP Presentation to the class. I had to in the online class I took. Then sit through a dozen or so other PP presentations and evaluate them. Then get graded on my evaluations.
Then he has to work out why he can’t send an attachment in his student email. One assignment has to be sent that way and he gets an error message saying he can’t send attachments. One more thing I said I’d help him with. I think he is going to have to call tech support on that one.

My mother just called, the plans are off because of all the rain. I can go back to bed and stop talking everyone’s ear off.

**sari **- look into student versions of Office that include PP - not nearly as stupid expensive as personal versions, if I recall.

OK, stop distracting me - I have work to do!!!
